Block Out Background Nonsense with a Jawbone Earpiece {Shopping Articles Blog}
Apr 23rd 2010 9:58PM I tried Jawbone and Plantronics. I liked Plantronics but the charge time was a little low for me then a friend turned me on to BlueAnt....I will NEVER go back to any other bluetooth. I can talk with all four windows down, sunroof open and stereo cranked and I can hear the caller and my caller can hear me crystal clear. Jawbone wasn't even that good.
Suri Cruise Goes Grandpa and Wears Dark Pulled-Up Socks With Shoes {Stylelist}
Apr 12th 2010 1:14PM OMG! Who care what the combination is, at least she's wearing clothes! My best friend fought tooth and nail to get her 4 year old into something other than Disney Princess costume dresses for months!
'Tiger: Did You Mean Bootyism?' {Fanhouse Golf Blog}
Apr 9th 2010 12:08PM I agree with the part about if he hadn't gotten caught he'd still be out there playing every "hole" off the course as well as on. However, I do believe he thought the rules did not apply to him, simply because of his celebrity status. Look at how we as a nation have put celebrities on pedestals and sensationalized every move they make (especially if the news was scandalous)for generations. Why wouldn't he think the rules apply to him when we have celebrities like Wilt Chamberlain and Gene Simmons documenting about the number of women they slept with, or Pam and Tommy filming it? It seems anymore sexual prowess is more prestigious than an Oscar, Emmy, Heisman and now a Green Jacket. Should he have known better? Yes. Does the behaviour of others excuse him? No. But it does explain a little why a person who is given celebrity status feels that sense of entitlement. For some reason, the rules truly don't apply to them; just look at the gallery that still follows and cheers him on around Augusta this week. It seems to me all is already forgiven already.

Apr 9th 2010 11:44AM mbrul - the guy in the plane has a Tiger shrine in his bedroom? The guy in the plane has nothing to do with it. He just flies the plane like he's paid to do. Usually when you see a banner flying like that it's a promo company that hire's itself out. If you have the cash to spend on the message, they'll fly it around for you.
Bake Sales: Let Them Eat Junk! {ParentDish}
Mar 3rd 2010 12:58PM Sorry, but children with allergies know what they are and are not allowed to eat. Bake sales usually sell items for pocket change, if parent's are worried about their child "over indulging", don't send your 8 year old to school with a $20 bill in their pocket!!!! It is either this or hawking your children's "fundraising" items at the office for the next 12 years. My children are grown, graduated and gone and I do not remember EVER having fundraising events other than a bake sale here and there like the schools do now. Everytime I turn ariund at work somebody is sticking a flyer in my face for everything from candy to greeting cards to wrapping paper. I say go on with your decadent bake sale and keep your fundraisers where they belong...in the school, being supported by the students they were meant to support...LOLOLOL
Magazine Staffer Fired for Baring Her Sports Bra? {Lemondrop}
Jan 11th 2010 7:54PM I think we are all missing the point here. I would imagine in a company this large there are policies in force, nowhere are the policies listed in this article. Who is to say there is not a strong sexual harrassment policy in place that was violated by stripping down to her bra, yes even in the company of other woman undressing can be considered sexual harrassment. Unfortunately even an innocent act cannot be overlooked, in large companies "ignorance is not an excuse." I'm sure there is more to this story than what is written here. How did she react when confronted by HR such as "We heard this happenned..." did she say "Yeah, but it was just..." right there she's screwed, she just admitted guilt. Was this her first infraction? Being an editor (management), should she have not known better than to behave like this at work?
Magazine Staffer Fired for Baring Her Sports Bra? {Lemondrop}
Jan 11th 2010 7:37PM Unfortunately Josh is correct. There is a time and place for everything and the workplace is not the place to discuss let alone show newly augmented breasts even if they are still covered with a bra. Face it folks, like it or not the opinions of a few rule the majority and we must all follow the rules of PC. And lest we forget was management...didn't the article say she was an editor? That puts HR (and the company) in the position of "You should have known better..." It sucks, but sometimes you gotta use common sense, all it takes is one goody goody in the office to make the rest of our lives' hell!
Sharon Stone Nude Again in Paris Match: New and Improved? {Moviefone Blog}
Nov 17th 2009 9:16PM Yes, she did have work done. She is from PA and an acquaintance of mine dated her cousin. He spoke of a family dinner he attended where Sharon came home from California shortly after she "made it big" showing of her new "purchase"; two new breasts. Now this was back in the 80's so goodness knows if she has had any "work" done since.
Cries for Help Not Always Answered {Sphere Lite}
Nov 1st 2009 1:53PM I agree this crime is horrific, and the the fact that no one stopped
it or even called for help is equally horrific. Each and every one of
the bystanders should be charged with something, even if it is a
misdemeanor mischief charge, to at least set an example that if you
know a crime is being committed you can not just stand and watch. As
far as jumping in and helping, I disagree. Sometimes the good
samaritan does end up being another victim or misreads the situation
and helps the "wrong victim" compounding things even further. In
this day where cell phones are a dime a dozen, dialing 911 should
suffice. Even if it is the 100th call for the same incident, there
can never be too many details supplied to the authorities, but it
sounds to me like no one in this cas even bothered to do that much.
Judge Lets Bears Fan Wriggle Out of Peyton Manning Bet {Fanhouse NFL Blog}
Mar 29th 2007 1:36PM The judge should have let him change his name, then maybe he'd consider the consequences before he makes another stupid bet. If your gonna bet on the outcome of a sporting event, the stakes have to be something that's humiliating, like shaving your entire body and doing the Macarena in the courthouse square.
