Jun 19th 2010 11:21PM I say there should be good coffee houses where politics is discussed ... in search of truth... higher education, critical thinking... especially in university towns.. otherwise, coffee houses are boring... if Starbucks won{t do it,,, maybe there is a market for bull session coffee houses where interesting discussions and debates can take place.... Starbucks can have one type of atmosphere.... other coffee houses can be more interesting, involved in the search for truth by way of critical thinking.. We should raise the level of critical and logical thinking in our country and coffee houses can help achieve this goal

Jun 19th 2010 9:51PM Starbucks is disgusting because it tells their employees not to talk about issues of the day.... political, etc... is so into political correctness, one principle is the political and secular truth about life has been handed down from on high, from the liberal, politically correct Gods.... and one thing this does is make a boring environment and for the brainwashing of college students and the publi to continue or be maintained... Discussion and debate of the issues of the day should be allowed ... even encouraged in coffee houses, especially in a college/university environment where critical thinking and the search for truth should be ongoing

Why does Ben continue to get into messes like this....? Is is booze? If so, I would just drink with my buddies and stay clear of women when drinking...maybe he should stay clear of women period....and why would he ever go into a restroom alone with a girl after all the trouble he is already in?

Dec 11th 2009 4:07PM How do we not know that the boy and she, both, are not equally responsible, both getting drunk and engaging in behaviour that led to sex.... then, when only the woman feels bad, she distorts that into "I was raped..." when really both are too blame... When you both get drunk, you both make bad decisions and we have heard nothing from the boy's side, his side of what happened.
Aren't we making a lot of assumptions here, one that is wrong is that it is always the man who is to blame when two, a male and a female, their decision making ability distorted by booze, have bad sex they regret later.... you automatically feel bad when you drink and maybe this gal is taking feeling bad and distorting that into "I've been raped...." You don't hink rationally anyway when you drink...
