KFC Hawks 'Firey' Wings on Fire Hydrants {Slashfood}
Jan 10th 2010 12:23PM Wow Alice, you must have a huge population of mixed race people where you live since everyone coming out of the KFC is an "Obama type" person. @@ Considering that, its amazing that you have such a racist view of things: like denying government aid based on race. So tell me under your plan would a 50/50 mixed person be allowed to have 50% of the foodstamps a non-mixed person would have since they are technically half and half?
Apparently you are not intelligent enough to realize how ignorant and backwards your post shows you to be.
Artists of the 2000s {Spinner}
Dec 29th 2009 5:01PM Bobbie what performances and albums did MJ release in the 2000s? Wasn't his last concerts in the 90s and the last album before his death was released in 2001 but wasn't as successful (although still more successful than many other artists) as most of his earlier ones. "This is It" was supposed to be his big come back, because he hadn't done much in the 2000s. Since this list is dealing with the top artists of the the 2000s it makes sense that MJ didn't make the list.
Artist Loanne Hizo Ostlie Creates Genuinely Diverse Barbie Mods {Lemondrop}
Oct 29th 2009 5:52PM A name African American girls can relate to like what? I'm black and the name the black dolls came with (even those made by blacks for blacks) I didn't relate to. Growing up I saw Barbies on tv and wanted a Barbie...its the brand name that the kid wants. I've had many Barbie dolls and I didn't discriminate when it came to skin or hair color. I played with 'em all. But, It was nice to be able to get a Barbie that looked somewhat like me. Might have been silly of me but I liked being able to get a black Barbie and the times when the black version was only available as Christie or some other name I wondered why it had to be named differently. I now understand it was marketing and an attempt to sell more dolls. The different name didn't bother me for long though because when I got them home they all got renamed anyways.

China's Latest Trend: Doggy Dye Jobs {Pawnation OLD}
Oct 1st 2009 11:37AM This is not cruel, pointless and maybe a little silly but not cruel as long as the dyes are safe. What's cruel is docking a rottweilers tail or adjusting a dobermans ear so it points straight up or declawing a cat. Those seem more cruel to me than applying some dye to fur. At least the dye will come out and the animal didn't have a medical procedure done just to be more acceptable in the eyes of the owner/society.
One More Time: There's a Toyota Prius wait list? {Autoblog}
Jun 16th 2009 8:24PM the federal government's tax credit for buying hybrids gets phased out after a certain amount of hybrids have been sold. if i remember correctly the website on the program said that toyota and honda are already phased out but ford, gm, and chrysler hybrids could still get it. So new prius owners are not entitled to the credit.
UK man selling roadkill as art for £35,000 {Autoblog}
Jun 24th 2007 2:21PM For those who think he's intentionally hitting the animals, here's his take on it:
"The whole process of using roadkill is to highlight how we have become alienated from the natural world," Mr Morrigan said today.
"People leave the animals on the road because they have x number of cars behind them. We don't pick them up, because we have the pressure of our daily lives pushing us forward.
"But we have this emotional connection to these animals. When we hit one we feel something. We feel bad but if we stop we're confronted with the aftermath of what we have done."
Here's the whole article:
