It takes a simple trip to Home Depot here in Phoenix, a venue that virtually promotes illegal aliens plying their services, to weed out non-citizens with about 90% accuracy. You won't like the rest of what I have to say, but here it is...It's in how they dress, where they live (hint: unscrupulous slumlords overlooking nationality AND living standards)and a distinct inability to speak little other than Spanish. I'm not saying that they are bad people, any less or inferior than us. I can tell you that those of us who reside in the Southwest can easily spot somebody without a legal right to be here. But we have to pretend we don't notice--otherwise, we're racist bumpkins who hate Mexicans and their culture.
