San Diego Cops Arrest Jets Fan for Being a Jets Fan {Asylum}

Jan 20th 2010 10:51AM I have to agree with "Gary" ... "Give an idiot a badge and a gun and this is what you get, I hope these idiots wearing badges and guns loose there jobs and are sued to the point of making them homeless."

I did not see any reason for the arrest. Did he resist? Yes ... without violence. BUT, in order to be charged with that, there must be an original charge. What is that charge? Every one of the officers involved in this ... EVERY ONE OF THEM! ... should be charged, FIRED and sued. One of them should have stepped up and said, "Stop! We're not here for this and we are taking it too far!"

25 Best Jobs of 2009 {AOL Jobs}

Jan 12th 2009 5:32PM I don't know where they get these figures from but some of them are off drastically. A couple of them ... my field of expertise ... are listed 75% below the actual salaries.

The Endangered Plastic Bag, Plus Super-Cute Totes {Lemondrop}

Nov 19th 2008 11:38PM I can just see it now ... people lined up to return their plastic bags; to exchange them for a different size; to replace the ones that tore, as they all do. A tax on plastic bags ... a charge for plastic bags? Totally ridiculous! The bag costs a small fraction of one cent to manufacture and everything in the store is already marked up to cover the cost of things like plastic bags. So, in effect, we will be charged twice for the same thing. I don't like it and I'll let them know.

944 Fifth Avenue, Estate of the Day {Luxist}

Aug 15th 2006 2:07AM I have dined with kings and queens and I have traveled to over 100 countries. I have NEVER understood such waste. If I were a multi-billionaire, I would want a 3 or 4 bedroom, simple home on a few acres, in the mountains, near water. That $19M waste of space is something only Little Lord Fauntleroy would appreciate.
