Yes, there are going to be some people who are ignorant and think things should be one way (interracial relationships can be hard that way unfortunately), but it's good to just ignore them and do what makes you happy.
Thank you for sharing your story. I'll be sure to tell my brother and my Asian guy friends there ARE girls that like them, because they go through the same stereotypical situations as your boyfriend and wonder why they can't get a girl. And I've been through the 'white guy likes Asian girl' fetish situation myself and I don't appreciate stereotyping either, but again, I have to just ignore it and surround myself with intelligent people, lol.
