Ab Force Customers to Get Refund from Telebrands {WalletPop}

Nov 22nd 2010 8:58AM Re: Ab Force Customers to Get Refund from Telebrands
By Gergana Koleva, Nov 19th 2010 at 10:35AM........ I would like to ask Ms. Koleva to investigate whether or not another product sold on TV called the CONTOUR BELT may also be a fraudulent product. It is similar to the Ab Force belt she already wrote about in this article, but people are paying over $200.00 for it!

Giveaway - Win a Paul Frank Collar and Leash! {Pawnation OLD}

Aug 20th 2010 1:49AM My name is Riley, and I'm a 5 yr old Cock-a-poo. I came down with an itchy ear infection and I scratched so much that I accidentally tore up the side of my face! I've had to wear a cone (the dreaded Cone Of Shame) for the last 6 weeks while my face has been healing, and the vet says I must continue wearing it a few more weeks! Oh No! Wearing that thing is horrible because I can't sniff anything when I go out for a walk -- I can't even properly sniff my doggie buddies in the neighborhood, and you KNOW how awful that is for a dog like me! If I win a cool new collar and leash, I'm gonna wear it EVERYWHERE as soon as this cone comes off. I'm gonna show it off all around my neighborhood, and I'm even gonna wear it into town for a date-night at "Doggie-Fest" with my sweet little girlfriend Zoie from down the street! Pick me! Pick me! ((stumpy tail wagging))

Popular Pakistani Singer Allegedly Murdered by Her Family {Spinner}

May 6th 2009 9:29PM Let me get this straight: By MURDERING this woman, her brothers and family think they have HONORED their family name ??? What kind of CRACK are these uncivilized barbarian idiots smoking ??????????????? Their names are NOT honorable -- They are now completely dishonored garbage and violent criminals, in the eyes of the world and of the Almighty Himself.

Facebook Rejects Lesbian Film Ad {Switched}

Apr 28th 2009 9:58AM This ad IS too suggestive, in my opinion, for public websites or places where children will see it. I don't care whether the actors portrayed are gay or straight; it is simply too sexually suggestive either way. I fully support the movie maker and the GLBT movement, however I do NOT support the sexualizing of advertisements in places where children will see them. This movie ad, Abercrombie and Fitch, Levi's Jeans, etc, etc........... they ALL need to stop sexualizing their ads and find a more family-friendly way to advertise in public venues. ((And while we're on this topic, I can't stand the fact that my 8 year old child is constantly seeing those stupid Viagra and Cialis ads on TV all the time. "Mommy, what is an erection? Can a person die if they get one that lasts more than 4 hours? Mommy, why did Timmy get suspended for singing the Viagra song in class today?" The pharmaceutical companies should be ashamed of what they are doing to our childrens' childhoods, all for the sake of $$$. Is nothing sacred anymore???))

Flea Medications Injure 44,000 Pets {Pawnation OLD}

Apr 21st 2009 11:27AM The SAFE "doctor recommended" flea medications (for use on pets skin) are FRONTLINE and ADVANTAGE. They cost about $50-65 for a package of 3 monthly application vials. They are available for cats and dogs, and they go by your pet's type and weight. ---------- The UNSAFE brands are anything made by HARTS and/or SEARGENTS. They typally cost much less (about $11-18 per 3-pack) and are found on store shelves everywhere. DO NOT BUY THEM, even if you need to save money, because they can seriously and permanantly injure or KILL your beloved pet. DON'T TAKE CHANCES !!!!! We made the mistake of buying a $14 Seargent's product off the shelf at a PetsMart store, and within minutes both our two cats were crying in pain, with high fevers and then seizures. We were terrified, we knew it was the cheap flea medication that was causing this, so we put both cats into a bath tub filled with very warm water and we washed them with shampoo and rinsed them each for over an hour, getting as much of the poison out of their skin as possible. Thankfully both our cats survived and were okay afterwards. But if we had not acted quickly, they would be dead today. We will NEVER buy anything but ADVANTAGE or FRONTLINE for our pets again. We strongly urge all pet owners to BEWARE of all the cheaper products -- even those that claim to be "all natural", because they are all potentially poisonous killers. We are shocked and dismayed that trusted stores such as PETSMART, PET SUPERMARKET, TARGET, WALMART, K-MART and PET CO are all selling those cheaper, dangerous products. We suggest a class action law suit against the manufacturers, the stores, and the US Government agencies that allow them to be sold. Sign us up!

JCPenney: "We Don't Do African-American Hair" {Blackvoices Main}

Nov 26th 2008 12:06PM I am not a racist in any way, hiwever I am quite familiar with the dangers involved in dying hair, for all ethnic types; black and white, etc... The danger of over-processing the dryer and coarser hair of a black person is a very real concern, whether we are talking about hair dye, perm solutions, or any chemical applications. Therefore it is extremely important that a salon employee must be experienced and capable of doing the job safely and correctly, before he or she accepts the job. If the receptionist at that salon KNEW her employees were not properly trained in using chemical treatments on African American hair, she was RIGHT in declining the client's request. The woman should not be suing JC Penny's. She should be grateful that her hair didn't end up singed or seriously damaged! She should understand that the receptionist was simply trying to protect her, and the salon, from a potential serious problem. But, sadly the woman is now using this incident as a way to make a nice sum of money in our court system...... (sigh....) Look, we are all EQUAL as human beings, but we do have differences that, despite being small, are still very real. I have spent the last 25 years of my life having my hair professionally dyed in numerous salons in 4 states, and I have seen the damages that can and do result when a hair dresser doesn't use the correct chemicals or procedure required for a hair type. To cry "Racism" because a salon declined a client is ABSURD. But, here I sit thinking clearly and logically, and yet that woman will soon be able to retire a wealthy woman because she cried "Racism" knowing it was just to make money. (double sigh....)

BBC Documentary Shows Grown Women Obsessed With Tiny Dolls {Lemondrop}

Oct 2nd 2008 8:24AM We were in a walmart last year when we saw a young woman of about 20 years old wandering around the store carrting a fake baby (doll) wrapped in a baby blanket. She even carried a diaper bag. She was accompanied by a couple of friends her age. They looked as if they could have been college age room-mates, abd her friends didn't seem to notice or mind her fake baby at all. My 8 yr old son saw this and was bewildered, asking me, "Mommy, what's wrong with that lady? She's carrying as fake baby!" Folks, if an 8 yr old child thinks this behavior is odd, then it's odd!
