If she actually had Christ scared out of her would she have to be re-saved or would that situation be overlooked by the Holy Trinity and Christ allowed to re-enter after the scaring? And would she be allowed to eat hot dogs on Friday since there is no Christ in her? This religion stuff has become VERY confusing. I can't see the offensiveness of the statement at all. Perhaps she wasn't even wearing socks, considering the fact they were on a boat at the time but then it doesn't really explain what they were doing on that boat except for the delegate wasting city funds by showing off his ability to call in helicopters and marine police but alas! if she were filled with Christ then she should have had the option to call down a host of angels to intervene, or at least part the waters and divert the marine police from boarding; I'd think. Not sure. OK...I'm done. Did I waste any space here?

Aug 22nd 2009 7:33AM OK ren...U right. The pictures (on the other sites) are misleading. None of the articles say the height of the building. Im glad you pointed out such an important fact...LOL

But yeah. I still think the kid was stupid. God had no hand in it. This IS low income housing with 11 kids jammed into one room. I raised two sons ... they did some stupid stuff as boys. One works for the CIA now and the other is a Master carpenter.

The entire article leaves a lot of questions. I'm forming my opinions the same as anyone else.

The article states the window opened from the top. The mother thought the opening was too wide after it was repaired...as quoted

"...Authorities are still trying to determine how Destiny managed to fall out (sic : of)the window, which has a visible window guard.

Neighbors said the window also opens from the top, possibly giving the youngster enough room to squeeze herself through...."

Aug 21st 2009 8:24PM I agree with Shannon. It's about the little (stupid) girl - I mean, come on! Even a puppy knows better than to hang around a 60 foot drop-off! And she had to squeeze through an opening at the TOP of the window to fall.

Well, OK...it's about the girl and her continued (probably miserable) existence.

We should leave welfare, taxes, child-abuse and God out of this. What are we, human beings?
