A Look at 'Twilight: The Graphic Novel' {Cinematical}

Jan 21st 2010 3:38PM Has anyone of the people on this thread EVER read a good book? If any of you are over the age of 13, and LOVED this book---holy wow.
It wasn't even written well. As for the movie--I'd rather watch bread toast--it would be more exciting. As for Robert Pattinson--he looks like a sickly 40 year old. This series has made me scared that too many adult women today are too sad, lonely, and desperate for a little romance. Vampires aren't supposed to be sparkly like fairies, poor Bram Stoker (a guy who wrote a brilliant, educated book in case you haven't heard of him), must be turning in his grave.

Celebrity Adoptive Parents {ParentDish}

Nov 23rd 2009 4:14PM Not all of us adopted kids get wonderful, loving parents. Plus, being an adoptee, other adults are too busy telling you how lucky you are that you were adopted, and ignore obvious warning signs. I wasn't lucky. I was a maid, a punching bag, a bartender (at 5), I walked to school because my "mother" didn't want to get up (took me an hour), was called horrible names, etc. I am so glad for all of the adopted children who found kind, loving, caring families--but don't think we all did. I'd like to adopt every orphan in the World--just so I could know they wouldn't get stuck the way I did.

Alice Wang Designs a Romantic Night with Your Dog {Pawnation OLD}

Oct 23rd 2009 12:41PM I hope they have a spa for my guinea pig--oh! and maybe a brewery for my St. Bernard. Holy crap people---find some humans to hang with!

Why Female Astronauts Never Made It to Space in the 1960s {Switched}

Oct 14th 2009 9:48AM Thank goodness I didn't have PMS when I read this or I might have done something "girly" like blow NASA up. Sheesh--when are people going to stop blaming EVERYTHING on women having our period? We are so weak, we deliver 8+ pound, 19+ inch, head the size of a bowling ball babies out of a 3 inch hole--and we live.
Try having a man do that, NASA.

Woman Terminates Adoption Because She Can't Bond With The Child {ParentDish}

Oct 1st 2009 6:45PM Poor baby--first dumped by his biological mother, then by his adopted one. How is he going to grow up sane knowing no one wanted him?
This woman should be ashamed of herself--especially after writing about adopting him. Sad way to get attention and publicity.....

TLC Halts Filming of 'Plus 8' Kids; Jon and Kate Battle Through Statements {PopEater}

Oct 1st 2009 6:41PM YAYYYYYYYY Jon--about time you took charge of your family and kicked the ho's to the curb. Now be a real man and get your family in line and don't let Kate treat you like a dog anymore. If I were you I'd have put her in her place a long time ago. Plus, kids need normal lives and friends--not camera crews and Mom's who go on book signing tours and talk shows. Mom's should be at home, or at a normal 9-5 job--not jet setting. My kids are fine, maybe not rich, but just fine--and we weren't on a reality show.

Is Lily Allen Retiring From the Music Biz? {PopEater}

Sep 25th 2009 2:52PM Ok, to quit because we download her songs (I never have) is ridiculous--I can watch it on MTV for free every day. And why does a person deserve millions of $ for a song someone else wrote anyway? Maybe if we started paying them what they're really worth they'd come down off of their imaginary pedestals. People who really contribute to the betterment of the World get paid so little. Sad, really.

Is Lily Allen Retiring From the Music Biz? {PopEater}

Sep 25th 2009 10:32AM She couldn't take the fact that Katy Perry took her limelight away. Poor thing couldn't keep up with a real entertainer.

Suri Comes Out to Play, Puts on Her Big Girl Shoes {PopEater}

Sep 23rd 2009 10:46AM Wow, wearing heels already? Some podiatrist in her future is going to get rich--if scientologists can even go to podaiatrists. Baby bunions--Not cute. And yes, the child must be terrified of hairbrushes, or she stands in front of wind machines too often. Hells at this age make me wonder if she will end up like most Hollywood children seem to, dancing on stripper poles at 16, doing drugs by the time their 12---what happened to children being children? And does no one realize that pedophiles may go after small girls who dress too "sexy" for their age? Wake up Hollywood--you're not immune.

Sep 18th 2009 5:45PM Watch out everyone--Britney Jr. will be shaving her head next.......
If the kid can sing, why does she have to whore it up at only 16? What happened to her daddy's "Good Ol Boy" values? Money means more than decency, I guess
