Feb 7th 2011 3:29AM What is with the sportswriters/headlines listing Favre's name either in the heading or in the first sentence. Favre had NOTHING, I repeat NOTHING to do with this game tonight. As for MVP, Rodgers deserved it no question, but mentioning Favre as never getting a Super Bowl MVP is a cheap shot. All Favre did in his Super Bowl win was throw 2 TDs on audibles (yes he did change the play at the line of scrimmage on BOTH TDs) and rushed for another TD. Desmond gets the MVP because the Pack opened up a hole you could drive a truck through on a kick off return that allowed him (or anybody else with 2 working legs) to score a TD.To this day Desmond getting that MVP over Favre is a freakin joke....

Plus now a lot of non bowling people know your face/name. After reading your bowling history to this day(65 plus perfect games is beyond amazing)you will be heard from again real soon on the tour. Wait 5 years and when he goes into the Hall of Fame on the 1st ballot, there will be more people/fans to witness his speech/enshrinement than any player before him (might have to actually turn fans AWAY it will be that packed) Favre is the most popular NFL player in history bar none and if he does finally retire after this year don't be surprised WHEN Directv's NFL Sunday Ticket loses a lot of subscribers because Favre isn't playing any more....
