Does Any Woman Have to Lose Weight to Get Lucky? {Lemondrop}

Mar 4th 2009 12:59PM To the authors: I assume you are somewhere around the average weight of women for your age, and have never been overweight. It is extremely difficult when you are overweight or even obese to feel sexy. And sadly, many of us are perfectly capable of feeling this way--but after 5, 10, 15, 20 guys tell you they just want to be your friend and date your best friend who is just like you... but skinny... it gets old. And a large number of the men who do sleep with these "women of all sizes who have never let a few extra pounds stop them" are doing it to get some... especially if its from a famous name! We aren't talking a few extra pounds, or about being "curvy women with confidence". When you say curvy we all know you mean 130-160 and definitely no where above.

Students Speeding Up Undergrad to Save Money {Lemondrop}

Mar 2nd 2009 7:57PM I'm currently a junior at a public university in New York and I'm planning on graduating a semester early. I transferred in 33 credits from high school dual-credit classes (none of which were AP, 9 of which are from working at an office and getting internship credit) so I've only had to take the classes I need for my major and my university's general education requirements. Despite the fact that I changed my major second semester sophomore year and studied abroad last fall, I don't need to take any summer classes and I've never taken more than 16 credits a semester. While I am nervous that I'll feel like I'm missing out on some experiences, I'm also very excited for the 'real world' and will save myself and my parents another few thousand dollars in student loans. And I had a summer internship last year and will be doing another this year, so I don't believe that graduating early means you have to miss out on opportunities what so ever. I'm also in a sorority and participate in a leadership development program on campus, all while working a part time job, so I think I've had a pretty optimal experience in my 3.5 years!
