Michael Jackson: The Boy Who Brought Me to Tears {Spinner}

Jun 27th 2009 1:06PM If people really knew the bible, they would know that Jehovah is a God of Love, and that He said in the old Testament that It had never even crossed his mind to put someone in fire. So to the pewson who believes Michael went to Hell, you don't know what you are talking about. You are not to judge, even if Michael did the worst thing on Earth God would never allow that to happen. Many translations of the Bible appear to be talking about a place of eternal torture, however, if you do the research or study with Jehovah's Witnesses you will find that the words that were translated to hell simply meant death. Michael is sleeping (as Jesus said about the girl he rose from the dead), God will wake him up and give him back to his family when God's Kingdom comes to Earth and Satan is Kicked out and bound. My heart and prayers go out to his family, friends, and other fans! Love you Michael!

Does Your Name Spell Success? {AOL Jobs}

Feb 12th 2009 3:51AM WOW! I am a bid further down the alphabet and If I wouldn't have suffered with depression in high school I would have graduated with honors. I darn near did anyway, even though I missed most of the last couple years of school. My first semester in high school I cried because I got all "A"s and one "B". I was so upset about that one little "B".

My last name then was "Craig" and now it is "Barnhouse", that is a really big Change. I am interested in Fashion Design and Art, and I wonder if these people would say I am destined to work on a farm. Who knows I am interested in Organic Farming! but that is not all of who I am.

My Dad's name was Shirley which is thought to be a woman's name but originally was a males name. I always liked it better on a male personally. To me it sounded cute and sweet on a boy but on a girl it just made me think of Shirley Temple who to me was borring.

I guess we do associate names with other things, however I hope we are wise enough not to limit ourselves by our name. I am Laneeta Barnhouse but I am not limited to either name. Truth is I can't think of a name big enough to describe who I really am. I have to many interests, and desires in life.

My husband's name is Timothy (Tim)...the study above stated it was a name thought by most people to represent intelligence. I have to admit I never liked this name or associated it this way until I met my husband....It made me think of this whiney whimpy boy from elementary school. I liked the kid but he was annoying!

My last name Barnhouse took a little getting used to. I didn't want people to associate me with the country or with being a redneck. I am born and raised WV. And now as I am getting a bit older I am finding that "country" is much more appealing than "city". I love the way things used to be when they were pure and simple. It seems to me that God (who's name is Jehovah- which means provider or one who causes to become) does allow us the names we have for a reason.

By the way I think the guy who posted who has the name Jan has an awesome name and I think it sounds more masculine than feminine. I think the way we feel about are names is up to us. I also think that (based on how I used to feel about the name Timothy and how I do now after meeting my husband) are views of names change as are world changes and we become bigger people with bigger minds. If someone limits you to your name ....go right past them! They are the one that is limited and small minded. Your name doesn't make you who you are....your talents, interests, spirituality, desires, and passion just to name a few are the fabric that is woven to make your spirit or essence of YOU! Don't limit yourself to a name!
