Tasteful or Tacky? Asking Bridal Shower Guests to Address Thank-You Notes {Aisledash}
Oct 15th 2010 9:41AM I honestly never considered this to be tacky. I have been to many showers and most of them have you address the envelope, put it in a basket which they use to draw the names for the "prizes" from.
The way I look at it is, an 8 months pregnant woman or a bride trying to plan her wedding has a ton of stuff on her plate. What's the big deal that I wrote my own name on an envelope? She is still the one writing me a thank you note, paying the postage and what not. It just saves her the tedious task of looking up addresses....
