Amy Winehouse Botches Concert, Cancels European Tour Dates (Video) {PopEater}

Jun 19th 2011 8:53PM It is never pretty to watch a human being self-destruct before your eyes. But we see it over and over again with Amy Winehouse. She is obviously drunk, stoned or both here. You can barely understand what she's saying. And once she tossed the microphone off the stage, you can tell this performance had "disaster" written all over it. She has only made two albums so far. At the rate things are going, she may not produce a third album.

Justin Timberlake: 'I Haven't Spoken to Britney Spears in a Decade' {PopEater}

Jun 1st 2011 3:24PM I can sum up the end of that relationship in just three words: Smell My Hand.

Controversial Director Lars von Trier Banned From Cannes Film Festival {PopEater}

May 19th 2011 1:20PM I've seen some of Lars Von Trier's recent films and it doesn't surprise me that his mindset would be like this. Maybe he should just make a movie called "I Hate Everything Including Myself".

Maternal Ambivalence: Dr. Barbara Almond Discusses the 'Hidden Side of Motherhood' {ParentDish}

Jan 1st 2011 10:14AM I have to say that every child wants to hear from their parents---both of them---that they love them. It's a primal thing. My mother loved me dearly. As for my father, well...he was treated very badly by his parents. They were very cruel to him, both emotionally and physically. My father was a good, hard-working man and he took care of all of us. But he never told me that he loved me. My mother said that he loved me. But he never told me himself that he loved me. Even as he was dying of cancer several years ago, he never told me himself that he loved me. I will have to live with that memory for the rest of my life.

Actions aren't enough. Words are just as important. All children need to be told by their parents that they are loved. Because the way things are today, their lives could depend on it.

Kathy Griffin: CNN Will 'Pull Me From the Air' If I Curse Again {PopEater}

Dec 22nd 2010 12:48PM Well, look on the bright side...at least they don't have Bill O'Reilly on the air, yelling at people, insulting them, not letting them get a word in edgewise and...oh, wait. Bill IS on the air.

Happy Turkey Day: The Top Thanksgiving TV Episodes Ever {PopEater}

Nov 25th 2010 9:24AM How can you guys forget the "All In The Family" episode, "The Little Athiest", which takes place on Thanksgiving? That episode is timely and it's a scream! Love it when Archie looks at the cranberry sauce and says, "Ain't ya got the real kind that slides out of a can?"

Pat Sajak Sorry For Unleashing Keith Olbermann on America {PopEater}

Nov 11th 2010 4:46PM If I was Pat Sajak, I'd be more sorry about bringing Rush Limbaugh on his show than Keith Olbermann.

Stephen Colbert Yucks It Up, Then Breaks Character at Congressional Hearing {PopEater}

Sep 24th 2010 8:46PM If you think Stephen Colbert was a bozo in these hallowed halls, are you forgetting what happened when Newt Gingrinch was in charge of Congress? He and the GOP invited Chris Farley to do his Newt impersonation (Farley looked drunk doing this, by the way). Colbert is stealth-smart and has more than a few points to make. And if you don't believe that, just watch his toe-to-toe with Bill O'Reilly on Fox News.

Happy 60th, Bill -- 10 Reasons We Love Mr. Murray {Asylum}

Sep 24th 2010 8:22PM I really liked Bill Murray growing up in the late 1970's and much of the 1980's. As I got older, I loved him in serious fare like "Rushmore" and "The Royal Tannenbaums". It was around that time that I found out how difficult Murray can be, working-wise. Almost everyone who has worked with him has said that when he's in a good mood, he can be the best. But when he's in a bad mood, you'd want to be on the other side of the world.
