Sorry Kenneth. Peraps you need brought in the loop. The Tesla S is a sedan, with seating for SEVEN and a THREE HUNDRED mile range on an electric charge.
Yes, it is more expensive than the Volt. It about $50 grand.
Do the math, that's 25% more money for 750% more range.

I would think at $40,000 the volt should do a lot more than save a few pennies at the pump !
How about Tesla?
They have a sedan coming out, and the roadster blows all these cars away.

You might not like them, but there are jobs. Some of these jobs require back breaking labor, like mine, but I work everyday.
