Oct 6th 2010 3:12PM We as a society need to adopt a no acceptance policy against all kinds of bullying. If you see it and do not do anything about it then you are not a lot better than the bullies. We have to teach our children that it is not acceptable to bully or make fun of anyone. EVER. I am tired of hearing the cowards and bully's themselves weigh in with their stupid excuses. Like everyone had tough times, lots of people are bullied, etc...Stop excusing the behavior and start teaching that it is not acceptable.

Jul 31st 2010 10:38AM I totally agree with this article. Whenever I see one of these over the top public proposals, I always cringe. I would have said yes if my husband asked me this way, at first, but that would have been a clue he wasn't the right guy for me. I went ahead and told my husband that he should not do it in public just so he knew. When he did it was very low key, romantic and private!! I am not sure why some guys go to such extremes, whether it is ego or excitement and they forget about the woman's feelings but it is nuts!

Jun 29th 2010 11:01AM The Crate is the dog's "den". My dogs often go to them when they are tired or stressed. They love their crates and get anxious if I move them or remove them, like when cleaning them. It is not a stressful thing to a dog. All canines need a den. My dog goes into her crate when I have anyone come work in my home, exterminator, A/C repair person, etc. I also crate her when I go away and she feels much more secure that way. She gets worried if I leave her loose and go outside without her. I have never had a dog that did'nt love their crate. This article is obviously written by someone who doesn't know much about dogs.
