Will Federal Stimulus Money for States Expire Before Recovery Arrives? {Politics Daily}

Mar 28th 2010 10:44AM Believe me, I am NO Obama fan...Not, Not, NOT!!! Disagree with how he's running this country...running it into the ground, but I just wanted to tell you that I checked the information about the money that supposedly went to OSU to keep Coach Robinson's job and Snopes said it's not true. Just wanted to let ya know.

Come on NOVEMBER!!!!!!

In Defense of Farmville -- Why One Addict Won't Be Cowed by Haters {Lemondrop}

Feb 24th 2010 10:45PM YES April! That's what I was trying to say as well! That would be GREAT to be able to block any comment that mentioned "Farmville" or other words that would pertain to it.

In Defense of Farmville -- Why One Addict Won't Be Cowed by Haters {Lemondrop}

Feb 24th 2010 10:29PM I'm glad there's a game that so many people like to play. I'm just not one of them. So I say if you like playing Farmville, play it. That's why we're online -- to have fun.

I have chosen to hide it like so many people on here have suggested....BUT there is a factor that hasn't been commented on... The people who post requests for: boards for their horse stables, or picket fences, or apple trees, or on-and-on-and-on-and-on... In order to hide that, you have to hide your friend. I have a lot -- a LOT of friends who play FV, but I don't want to hide their other stuff.

I guess it's just something we'll have to live with if we want to continue on FB.

Teen Misses Exam Because She's Homeless; State Does The Right Thing And Arranges For College {ParentDish}

Feb 7th 2010 11:34AM Derrel, she IS homeless. If you'd read the story carefully, you'd see that they were evicted LAST WEEK!!! Don't be a jerk.

Booking War Brewing Between Letterman and Leno {PopEater}

Jan 26th 2010 7:05PM While your statement may be technically correct about Howard Stern doing the "man-on-the-street" schtick before Jay, I believe it was done much longer ago than Howard. If I'm not mistaken, Steve Allen did it on the original Tonight Show back in the 60's; and it was more than likely done before him...possibly on radio. Jus' sayin'.

Things I Hate About TV: Designers' Challenge on HGTV {AOL TV}

Jan 26th 2010 12:50PM Yes, they're still on, but mostly in re-runs. I'd love to see some new ones. I know Curb Appeal is showing new ones. I think it's Curb Appeal on the Block or something like that.

Things I Hate About TV: Designers' Challenge on HGTV {AOL TV}

Jan 26th 2010 12:42PM Amen. Amen! AMEN Victoria!!!
You practically took the words right out of my mouth!!!

They need to get the variety back. Ideally it would go like this: If one doesn't like to watch the "rich" people decorate their homes, then just wait a little while and watch the "average" people decorate theirs on another show. If you don't want to watch people purchasing houses, wait a little while and watch the tips shows such as Tipical Mary Ellen or Simple....something-or-other (I forgot the name of it); or watch Cash in the Attic; or watch If These Walls Could Talk, or one of the craft shows. It's all about V-A-R-I-E-T-Y, HGTV! You have approximately 15 hours of watchable time during the day. SURELY you can come up with something besides House Hunters. PLEASE go back to your old format with a VARIETY of shows throughout the viewing day.

With the economy in the shape it's in right now, I imagine many people would like to see more tips on how to stretch their dollars by using helpful tips or craft shows.

I hope to goodness someone at HGTV is reading these comments and will take them to heart....and SOON.
