George Lopez makes 'fat' jokes at Kirstie Alley's expense {Celestrellas}
Mar 24th 2011 3:39PM Just like one idiot opening his mouth and removing all doubt that he is an idiot. George may think he is being funny but maybe he should look in a mirror and think about what he is saying before saying it. Kirstie has openly admitted that she has a problem with weight but at least she admits it. And she has guts to put herself out there for all of the world to see on DWTS. I would hate to see George try and do some of the dance moves. I don't think we are ready for another earthquake like Japan has been having lately. George, learn to keep your mouth shut so people will only think you are an idiot. When you opened it on this one, you removed all doubt that you are an idiot! As well as just trying to get higher ratings - that is not going to happen. And I am surprised that Sandra Bullock would put up with comments like your "pig jokes".

Johnny Preston, 'Running Bear' Singer, Dead at 71 {Spinner}
Mar 7th 2011 2:59PM Too bad they screwed up his name in the last paragraph. His last name was PRESTON not Peterson!!! Come on, try proof reading before putting the story on-line!!! Whether he was talented or not, whether he sang your type of music or not, whether you agree with his style or not, he deserves to at least get his name right in his Obit!
The CARD Act One Year Later: Is It Any Better for Consumers? {WalletPop}
Feb 24th 2011 5:27PM I have two Visa and two Mastercards with Bank of America due to the combining of failing banks that BA and Nations Bank acquired several years ago. I just received four letters from BA stating that due to various reasons, three of my credit cards were now subject to a $59 annual fee. But for some reason, the 4th card was being given a reduction in rate to 13.23% since I was such a "valued customer". When I called to ask why the difference, the customer service representative said that they use the information they receive from the difference services to determine the rates and charges. When I asked why 3 went from no annual rate to the $59 rate but the other one got a lower interest rate and no annual rate, her comment was "well, just be happy that I don't have the department send you out a notice increasing the rate on the one card and charging you the $59 annual rate on it as well". I asked to speak to her supervisor, and she said that she was the supervisor and that she had the final say-so on all situations like mine. I asked for the basis for the difference in the information they used to determine the difference, she said they could not or would not release that information. I thought that was a little strange but now I don't know whether to cancel the three cards or to look for another bank or to complain to Washington, D.C. I have a feeling that no one in D.C. gives a damn and no one is going to help settle the problem. From the information she gave me, it was like she had the final say-so and that I was stuck in the situation. I thought the CARD act was supposed to help customers in situations like this. Oh, I have been a BA customer since 1970 and have the 4 cards, a home loan, a Line of Credit, and a retirement through BA and its subsidiaries. Looks like they could not give a damn about short term or long term customers!

Feb 17th 2011 8:30PM Hey, bug off. No one cares about your phony BS love life, your BS boyfriend, or any of the other takes on your website. Every time I see your crap on any story, I just report it to the people behind the story. If enough of us keep doing that, they will eventually dump your comments down the crapper where it belongs. Freedom of speech is one thing but BS from the likes of you are something else!
Which Lightbulbs Save the Most Money? -- Savings Experiment {WalletPop}
Feb 10th 2011 1:36PM Actually CFL bulbs are not as cost effective as they claim. First there is the "little" problem of the mercury that is used in the manufacturing of the bulbs and the fact that they are supposed to go to a hazardous waste materials site (see the package). Then the BS that is on the package that gives you an estimated lifespan of 6,000 to 10,000 hours. When the local hardware store was giving them out at 25 to 35 cents per bulb, we stocked up on them since we have at least 30 locations in the house where they could be used. Some of the bulbs did not even last a week. I have taken back almost half of the original purchase and gotten replacement CFL bulbs with the same result. The "funny" part was watching the cashier just throw the defective or bad bulbs into the trashcan next to the register. When I asked her about the information on the package regarding disposal in a "hazmat" site, her comment was "her boss told her to just dump any returned bulbs into the trash - the heck with the warning on the package!" So much for ruining the environment for the next 50 to 300 years. Wonder what the final cleanup costs will be from all of the bad bulbs and the mercury that is leaking into the soil? Maybe Edison was right after all .... Either way, the CFL bulbs are not the savings that people think and will cost a heck of a lot more in the long run. What are we leaving the future generations of humans on this planet? Nobody seems to care anyway!
How to Address Gaps in Work History and Other Confusing Chronologies {AOL Jobs}
Dec 8th 2010 11:38AM While I agree with many of your comments, I have one additional thing to say. Remember, no matter how angry or upset you get regarding the questions, etc., that an interviewer may ask or that appear on an application, it is their game and their rules. With so "few" jobs vs. applicants looking for jobs, the interviewer can use almost any reason to drop your application into the round file. IF we want to find that job we need, then we are going to have to play by their rules and adjust to their games. Whether it is right or not, it all comes down to the supply and demand. The demand for jobs may be high but the supply of jobs is low in comparison so we have to work to meet their needs, regardless of how their rules and question may anger us inside. We still have to smile, give them a firm handshake, and be as upbeat as possible so we can get that job we need!! Just my two cents worth!
Rare Penny Sells For $1.7 Million {Luxist}
Sep 25th 2010 12:19PM That version was one of the other two versions minted in 1943. Remember we has three different locations that minted coins - San Francisco, Philadelphia, and Denver. Depending upon the location and the number of error minted coins can greatly affect their value to other collectors. The value of anything is what someone else is willing to pay. To one person, it may only be worth a penny but to someone else, it was worth more than a million dollars. Or what is your house or car worth to you or to someone else?
Lindsay Lohan Is Out of Jail {PopEater}
Sep 25th 2010 10:41AM Doris,
You did not finish the line, "Money talks, BS walks". In this case, she just walked out of jail again. And one of these times, she is going to kill innocent person just walking down the sidewalk, crossing the street, or driving to the store. After that happens, the judges, the justice system, the lawyers, and the sheriff should be held accountable for her release back into society! They should be charged and forced to look in the mirror every day for the rest of their lives and have to think about their actions! What they have done is release a ticking time bomb back into society that will end up hurting or killing someone innocent. Just remember who is really to blame, LiLo, her parents, the justice system that can be beaten with money, the lawyers that don't do their jobs, and the sheriff for not finding room for her to stay in jail instead of an early release due to "overcrowding" ....
