Apr 18th 2010 4:07PM I have interviewed over a thousand job applicants during my career, and first impressions are imporant. I immediately notice cleanliness and grooming or lack of either. If a person looks as if they just rolled out of bed or slept in the clothes they are wearing, I have difficulty focusing on their qualifications. Appearing nervous is common and natural, I interview Human Beings, not robots. And the most important asset I look for is simple Common Sense, which is very easy to detect. I am always amazed at how many people have absolutely none.

She was a very talented actress who stood out amongst so very many not so very talented pretty faces. She was small and some say "difficult"...so was the greatest actress of all time, Bette Davis. Time will tell the truth so shut up and wait for the facts.

Of course a Noble Prize winning author such as John Steinbeck could never compete with the Harry Potter series or any of the other assembly line "writers" and one book wonders.
