However, everything after the paragraph that ends "gently break things off" is more a commentary on Holly's self-esteem IQ than on Steve's sleaziness. Scumbags will do everything they can get away with until they are held accountable and exorcised from your life. Until you cut them off, they will relentllessly suck away your life energy like a cancer of the soul.

And please, oh please, why are women so fascinated by how horribly and craptacularly some men treat them? Is it to breathe a sigh of relief that your current S.O. isn't all bad? Is to feel morally superior as a gender? Is it a glorification of the martyr/victim status of women? I just want to understand...

That just rates an ewwww.

Seriously, Suze isn't my favorite financial counselor, but you could do a lot worse. Perhaps an army of Ormans could talk some financial sense back into this country.
