Eric Braeden is a 'D-Bag,' According to Neil Patrick Harris {AOL TV}
Dec 19th 2010 11:51PM why do you have to try to make such a big story out of this? you don,t bother to mention he apologized a few hours later. find some real news to talk about instead of trying to start feuds.
Recession adoptions: Economy forces some women to give up babies {WalletPop}
May 21st 2009 10:07PM what comes to my mind is how selfish this woman's teenagers must be. they're willing to go along with their mother giving away their sibling so they don't have to make any financial sacrifices. i have seven children, have always had to struggle with money, and have never regretted any of them. i can't imagine ever giving any of them away, and the older ones were always excited and happy to welcome and love a new sibling. some things are just more important than money.
Martinis in the Maternity Ward? {Lemondrop}
Sep 23rd 2008 5:23PM my 7 children were born from 1971 through 1994. i followed the same pattern with all of them; a couple of weak drinks in the evening to relax on particularly stressful days(i've never been a big drinker). they have all grown up completely healthy in every respect. as with a lot of things, drinking to excess can cause problems, but that doesn't mean a small amount is harmful.
Is Obama Black? {Politics Daily}
Jun 10th 2008 6:31PM there is probably not a 'black' person in america who can lay the claim that there is no blood of other races in his heritage somewhere. if they choose to call themselves black, that is their right. the majority of the caucasion population could very well have other races, whether black or oriental, mixed in somewhere in their family's history. i don't see what the big deal is. most of us are probably 'multi-racial', but we should have the right to identify ourselves with whatever heritage we wish. obama has never denied his white heritage. he has simply followed our nation's tradition of labeling people. he is a fine, decent man who will be a great president, whatever his race or religion. and this is from a 'white' christian woman.
MEL B: Broken Silence {BV Newswire}
Jul 29th 2007 8:54PM so in other words, she deliberately got herself knocked up by a guy she knew she probably wasn't going to settle down with. can you say 'big-time child support'? and for the record, he NEVER said he definitely wasn't the baby's father. he merely wanted a test to be sure. if you ask me, she' a gold-digger, and he realized it and dummped her ass. too bad it was too late.
Southern Sweet Tea {AOL Food Blog}
Jul 14th 2007 4:20PM i'm beginning to think i must have some southern blood in my family tree somewhere! i was born and raised in north-western pennsylvania(erie county), but this is my favorite way to make tea! the only thing i don't do is the baking soda, but it sounds like a great tip, and i'm trying it next time i get my kids to help me make tea!(can't be on my feet long enough to do it alone) i also don't need the extra syrup, as the rest of my family prefers it much less sweet! we have to have two pitchers in the 'fridge. as they put it; 'normal' tea, and 'mama's sugar water'! lol!
Memama & Mimiwag's Chicken & Dumplings Recipe {AOL Food Blog}
Jul 14th 2007 3:54PM this is almost exactly the same as the recipe i always used for chicken and dumplings. the only difference is, i use milk instead of water, and just place them on top of the bubbling chicken and broth. made with water, the same dough makes wonderful biscuits when baked. i had to develop this recipe on my own, as my dad was a strictly 'meat and potatoes' kind of guy, and casserole-type dishes were rare when i was growing up! health problems have severely curtailed my time in the kitchen, and now-a-days, my dumplings are made from refrigerator biscuits! reading this article brought back such delicious memories, i'm thinking i might have to teach my hubby how to make REAL dumplings! thanks for a great article!
My hump, my hump, Katie's lovely baby bump {Stylelist}

Boycott Rosie? {AOL Video Blog}
Apr 10th 2007 4:56PM i love rosie. while i don't agree with her comments about 9/11, i admire her ability to speak her mind. everyone has the right to do that. i also respect those commenters who actually voiced their opinions with intelligence. those who resort to name-calling because they are too inarticulate to write an actual comment are are just wasting everybody's time.
Courteney and Jennifer's Lip-Lock {AOL Video Blog}
Mar 29th 2007 5:11PM the only ones who 'over-hyped' this scene were the media sites(like this one) that go for sensationalism rather than facts. in interviews she gave on the subject, courtney cox stated in no uncertain terms that all it was going to be was a freindly peck. criticizing the show for not living up to *your* misleading crap is pretty low, even for you. you really need to stop believing your own lies and exagerations.
