To Tan or Not to Tan? New Study Says Not ... What About You? {Lemondrop}

Oct 9th 2008 6:23PM I use a tanning bed every once in a great while. Nothing to make me look overly fake or anything like that, and I also use a bronzer infused lotion. I have also had skin cancer (basal cell carcinoma). I have also been told that I look 18 (I'm 25) and I have beautiful skin (stretchmarks and surgery scars be damned). I drink water by the gallon, I work out on a regular basis (I'm a firefighter. I have to).

Tanning, in my opinion, is alright, if you use moderation. I'm from the North, so my skin still tans and pales with the ebb and flow of the seasons. Sometimes I just like feeling the warmth going through my entire body, especially when the temprature outside is -20.

Moderation. Nothing wrong with it. I only talk smack about the overly-fake baked super bleach blondes with fake breasts, clown makeup, overly bleached white teeth, and wrinkles. Because despite all their attempts to be 'beautiful' it shows they really didn't take care of themselves.

I've had skin cancer. Ok. Lesson learned. I still tan, granted at a much lower rate than I have done before. If you do, cool. If you don't, cool. Just use moderation.

I wonder if they have it in purple?

The Season's Hot New Carryall: Your Boobs {Lemondrop}

Oct 9th 2008 5:53PM For real? No, really.

I need to start dropping acid or something and put my ideas down on paper. Maybe I can come up with some off the wall stuff to sell.

Science Reveals How to Cure Your Guy's Wandering Eye {Lemondrop}

Oct 9th 2008 5:38PM Reality is that everybody looks. EVERY-body. I look. My man looks. We're not dead. We just know that at the end of the night we are together. Part of it is because we are still insanely attracted to each other despite of the past arguments and other relationship potholes. Partly because we have each other thoroughly trained to satisfy each other, and that takes a lot of work.

We also have an agreement. He gets to spend some time hanging with 'the boys' as long as he doesn't mind if I get to spend some time hanging with 'the boys'. There's a mutual trust. He knows I have always hung out with guys, and I'll spend a night out drinking with them. If he had a cache of female friends, I wouldn't mind him hanging out with them.

Gender bias. I don't believe in it. Men and women both have many chances to cheat. The only thing that makes you wrong is if you don't practice self-control. Evolution, laws, times... it doesn't matter. You have self-control now. If you don't care enough for your mate to not cheat, that's your problem. There is no 'cure for the wondering eye'.

A Sex Life to Dye For {Lemondrop}

Oct 9th 2008 5:19PM Good for you, Jean. But I've never had a traffic ticket, and I'm a brunette. It helps when you don't break local traffic laws in the first place.

A Sex Life to Dye For {Lemondrop}

Oct 9th 2008 5:13PM Blondes may have more fun, but brunettes remember it.

And where's the study on men's hair color? I'd have to throw off the study, because I prefer my men bald.
