It is commonly thought that the child takes the race of the mother because the mother usually rears the child if the father is not in the picture, ergo, Mr Obama is white, n'cest pas?

Jan 28th 2010 8:36PM Dr Boyce Watkins is just as bad as Chris Matthews in his perception of Pres. Obama's so called blackness. Both of them seem to forget that the President is just as "white" as he is "black}. Americans of both races have the inclination of placing every human being in a box of the white or non- white categories.
Everyone seems to have the same problem of describing everyone else as that black man or white man, rather than that man or that American.

It is disappointing and disgusting!

And a trustee should be set up to govern the trust, to prevent her from spending money like it was water. There is no way any one can spend that much money on a child in a YEAR, not to mention a month.

With the cult mindset of the kids with the vampire movies etc. they hang on every word about the characters in those movies and try to emulate the stars who portray the charcters. II shudder to think about the can of worms this article has opened up.

Nov 25th 2009 9:15PM Shades of George Bush!! Donnie stole the championship! He has a lot of showmanship but never has had any talent as a singer and most assuredly not as a dancer. Either the voting was rigged or the judges are blithering idiots if they voted him in as the winner. My feelings are that the voting on these reality talent shows should be left up to the judges alone, since they are the experts.
When it is left up to the viewers, too much emotion and favoritism enters into it.
My last season as a viewer, not that anyone cares, but I wasted my time.

Nov 9th 2009 3:21PM My daughter purchased a 1985 Volvo DL in 1996. It is still running beautifully and has had no major problems. I drive it to take my granddaughter to and from school and on general errands.
I recommend older cars if you research them well.

Nov 9th 2009 3:03PM I agree that some of the skit was offensive and some of it was funny. Matlin is really a funny person at best and she was in on the "joke". Her part was hilarious.
In these pressing times it is good to laugh but not at the expense of someone's handicap.
