Oct 3rd 2010 4:33AM I visited Medellin and Cartagena in 2008 and had a great visit. Medellin is beautiful and so are the women, the people are typically friendly. Cartagena was the most romantic city I have been too yet, and there is a danger feel with all the poor people around.
This year I visited Bogota last minute and stayed in "la candaleria". On my 2nd day while exploring the area alone, I wandered 20 minutes north to take photos looking down on Bogota. After snapping a few shots from a wide open field where Mothers were with babies a group of teenage boys jumped me right there in the field. One had a knife and cut my arm and the others kicked at me ribs. They tool my stuff and it obviously ruined my trip having to go to the hospital for medical attention. I did initially resist which probably brought on the violence and the police and no interest in looking for the kids which I'm sure live and hang in that area every day. I heard the life span of teenagers in some areas is very low due to the poverty etc. I would warn anybody going to Columbia not to walk alone and with a bag. I live in NYC and it happens here too but I'm 44 and I guess either avoided it or my number was just up.

Aug 8th 2010 2:53PM Silva received a beating for 4.5 rounds and got lucky on a desperate submission attempt. Sonnen got lazy and was exhausted from punching him in the head for 20 minutes straight. He dominated the fight and Silva should be ashamed to walk away calling himself the winner. He pulled himself off the mat after every round like a beaten man and staggered off from the ring. I have waiting for that douche Silva to take a beating and that's what happened. Win or lose it was a great show of domination by Sonnen. I can't wait till he does it for a 2nd time.

Despite all efforts from the left and Soros to shut him up, he still stands stronger. I understand how most people who voted for Obama cannot admit they made a mistake handing over the presidency with a resume of corruption and inexperience. Admitting you're wrong is quite difficult and it's just easier to kill the messenger.

The whole SEIU and Andy Stern thing is just a made up story right? He just happens to be the most visited person at the White House. Yeah I know, no connection there. The new study that shows only 10% of his cabinet had NO private sector experience has nothing to do with the crises we are getting deeper in. The fraud of the stimulus, the cap and trade tax, the health care tax and take over are all just baseless rants on behalf of Beck.

When he say's the US cannot sustain the spending is just BS. Some of you will just blame Bush for the next collapse that will come if this congress continues with more spending and entitlements.

Aug 10th 2009 1:18PM I don't know how you hit a defenseless guy who is clearly knocked out repeatedly on the mat. This sport is starting to turn me off. Late stop by the ref and Bowles went too far. Just look at the photo where Miguel is not defending himself while Bowles winds up.
