MSNBC's Tamron Hall Uses Sister's Murder to Speak Out Against Domestic Violence {BV Black Spin}
Oct 17th 2010 8:29PM OK I am sick of the political correctness in our society that is a direct result of the radical left-wing feminist movement. Yes this movement gave women rights that they deserved but it had the effect of vilifying men as a whole. I was raised to respect women and to never lay a hand on them. The reason why I am writing this is because domestic violence does not just happen to women or gay men.
I am a 255lb, white heterosexual male who has been on the receiving end of emotional and physical abuse in a few past relationships. I have been described by colleagues, past girlfriends, friends and family as a "nice guy" to substantiate my character. So please realized that domestic violence is not just a racial or gender issue. DV against men happens much more than is recognized. Moreover, any expert in DV worth their salt will tell you that in more than half of DV cases, both partners are guilty of abusing the other. I genuinely feel for this women and the loss of her sister. But, this issue also affects many many good men that endure abuse at the hands of their wives and girlfriends. This is because of the societal norm that states that all men are no good, violent and untrustworthy, which is not true, and validates this belief when women are violent towards innocent men not deserving of the abuse. Its time for political correctness and

Apr 10th 2010 1:39PM Nobody appears to be correctly informed on this blog. The very fact that the government "requires" a personal income tax is illegal. There is not a law that states that we are required to pay. Ask any politician or lawmaker, or IRS representative and they would not be able to show you this. Oh, and the issues we have are not partisan, it is the entire system...It is corrupt on both sides. No it's not so and so's fault like Bush and Obama...they and every president since the turn of the century (1900) are just puppets. The crooks are the Fed ie....Paulson and Bernankie and maybe 20 other financial "experts". They think that they are untouchable, and so far they have been b/c of idiots that hold on to the idea that our two party system is really running the show. These individuals in the fed do not want a government run insurance or anything for that matter b/c they would not be able to skim the bottom line. We need to model our economic and political system after England, Canada and France. One of my buddies moved to France for a job and stated that he cannot believe how many perks that they have that are government subsidized like health for all, daycare for all, housemaid service for all. We are being fed a f*#$ing lie about how horrible these other country's have it. And to think that I used to be a republican!!!! Now an independent.

Apr 10th 2010 12:58PM Yup
The gov has been blatantly stealing from us for the past 30 years. Most of us are so blind to it or desensitized because it happens so often that we don't blink an eye when he hear about Enron, the fed reserve, the "mortgage/stock market crash of 2008", etc. We all need to open our eyes and demand change. This will only happen if we vote independent.

Apr 10th 2010 12:50PM I am just patiently waiting for when the rest of use get fed up with the greed. Nobody in this country should go hungry, without insurance, or without a decent paying job. I work with the disadvantaged and they are beat down and discouraged just like the rest of us. When are the citizens of this great country going to demand that we go back to a democratic system instead of a capitalistic one? Capitalism breeds geed as we have seen in the past 30 years.

Apr 10th 2010 12:40PM The government is actually breaking the law by demanding that we pay income taxes. There is no law that states that we are required to pay. They illegally enacted the Federal reserve in 1914 and with it a free cash flow to line their greedy pockets. Incredible!
Money College: One student's losing battle with private student loans {WalletPop}
Feb 28th 2010 3:01PM Yup, I too was sucked into the lie that "If you go to college, you will have a good financial future B.S.). I was the second in my entire family to go to college and had the dream of getting my education. My parents had no money or credit so I had to work my a@@ off and pay out of pocket for half, but the other half was fed loans. In order to get a job in my field I had to get my master's, so now three degrees later and 60,000 in debt from Fed loans. I have a job but my field now pays nothing and it is too damn expensive to live with inflation and to pay back 700.00 a month for 15 years. Its a sham and a lie. My children will be expected to get their associates degree to get educated but they will all be encouraged go to trade school to learn a trade to make a decent living. My cousin is a hairdresser and makes double what I make a week with no student loans. Good friend is a plumber and makes triple what I make. My other buddy is high school educated and runs an entire department at a major company. Keep your your "calling" or passion as a hobby and work in a job field that pays!!!!
AIG Party Watch: This time a resort in Phoenix {WalletPop}
Nov 12th 2008 9:59AM My comment is not posting ??!!! Anyway I will try again........ I cannot believe that AIG is doing this again!! I lost my job 5 months ago and unable to find another job in my field despite the fulltime effort. My wife was told yesterday that she may be laid off by Janurary. I am finding it very hard to see that everything happens for a reason (as I usually do but not lately) This adds insult to injury when we cannot afford to cover my wife's insurance and have to only get it for me b/c I have an autoimmune disease (AS) that flares with stress such as lossing a job, etc. I mean I am a hard working, highly educated individual that is needlessly suffering along with millions of others in this country while execs and some politicans are partying. We very well might lose our house b/c of the state of the economy despite efforts to find work. I mean WTF!

Nov 12th 2008 9:37AM I cannot believe these people at AIG. I was laid off b/c of budget cuts 5 months ago and I have been unable to find a job in and out of my field. I have a so called "wonderful" portfolio including a masters degree and experience, etc without success- its all a sham. I will be forced to work at burger King making 6 dollars a hour because of the crappy state of affairs and these assholes have the balls to party on our dime!!!! And I just got word from my wife today that her place of employment might fold it's doors by Janurary. I am done!! I mean I have stood by seeing all of this happen by execs and politicians since 2000 and now this. When is enough, enough? When are we all going to take a stand? I have already emailed my representatives. We need to rally!
