Dog Bite-Related Hospitalizations Skyrocket Over Last 16 Years {Pawnation OLD}
Dec 9th 2010 11:44PM "Designer dogs." Thirty years ago, these dogs would be listed in the want ads as "free to good home, heinz 57 mix." How naive are people to pay $400 and upward for an inventive, cutsie name. Unreal.
Dog Bite-Related Hospitalizations Skyrocket Over Last 16 Years {Pawnation OLD}
Dec 9th 2010 11:41PM As a veterinarian, I am just shocked at how people allow their dogs to run their lives. They allow the dog to be the alpha, which is the exact opposite of what you should do to insure your dog's mental health well-being. These dogs are allowed to lead "the pack" and are, in their mind, expected to take care of every person in their family--not to mention patrolling and protecting the home from even the postman. That is way too much responsibility to place on a dog. And then you dare to call him/her "your baby." And you are surprised when your dog bites or attacks someone??? You are basically handing him/her the leadership reigns, and you are surprised when he resorts to his instinctual ways? Ridiculous. Take control. People are supposed to be the alpha, even your two year old toddler. I've never seen a happier dog than one who knows his position and his responsibilities. And by the way, your vet does not appreciate being jumped on, or licked all over the face. Also, if you cannot control your dog, we are not impressed with how powerful your dog is. Instead, we are disgusted by how wimpy you are.

Ashley Graham on Lane Bryant Commercial: 'Curves Are In, and They Are Here to Stay' {Stylelist}
Apr 27th 2010 12:01AM I weigh about 95 pounds, and am 5 foot tall. I do not think I am attractive, especially compared to those with curves. My main point is, I don't have a huge number of men beating on my door and trying to meet me. I guess this goes to show that thin is not in, regardless of what these men are trying to tell us.

Jul 30th 2008 1:35AM Very good point. A good man will appreciate a good woman.
Regardless of her weight. I am lucky to have a wonderful husband, and he's been with me through thick and thin (ie fat and skinny). Thank you jwls for bringing that point out.

Jul 30th 2008 1:20AM I am 45 years old, and very short. I think I look best when I'm around 100 pounds. I am just shy of 5 foot tall. I worry about when my metabolism slows down, and the weight starts to stick to me. So far so good, but what do the Docs recommend?
