She doesn't know what the word "class" means. Her pet project as first lady is supposed to be to fight obesity - she better practice what she preaches. She has gained a lot of weight since she started eating off we tax payers. As far as her fashion clothes - she just wears all those designer duds to get attention. I have yet to see her in the same outfit twice. As far as their not going to church - how is it that all presidents and their families before Obama managed to attend church and had no security problems. Are they atheists, agnostics, muslims or what makes them not attend church?

Aug 19th 2010 6:56PM Jade, I will concede Bush took all, or almost all, of his vacations at his ranch in Crawford, Texas. He owned the ranch and his house's staff prepared their meals . A far cry from accomodations costing $7,000 or more per night and
in the ritziest places. The economy under Bush was not good and he tried to show his concern for the common man by down playing any lavish vacations.
Perhaps Obummer should take a lesson from Bush on that.

They haven't been in the WH two years yet and they have taken seven luxury vacations. They may be paying for their own accommodations and food, but that airplane, Airforce One, doesn't fly cheap and the army of secret service and Michelle's personal staff (over 20, which is more than any other first lady has ever had) are all paid for with our tax dollars.
Are any of you aware that neither of the Obamas can now practice law?

He has taken over the banks, auto industry, healthcare, and run the country into never heard of debt and still wants to spend, spend and increase our taxes. Unemployment still at 10% and he isn't doing anything about it. Quite frankly, I don't think he knows what he is doing.

Jun 11th 2010 4:14PM Your husband might as well try to get a judge who could see things like this intelligent judge did in this story. I know there are many dead-beat dads, but there are also many vindictive mothers who will do anything to get back at their ex. They do not consider what it is doing to the children. In any situation like this, the good of the children should be both parents' first concern.
I am 80 yrs old and divorced my son's father when I was only 45.
I told my son that our problems were our problems and had nothing to do with him. Also told him that his dad would always be his dad and that he should stay in touch with him. My ex felt our son had to chose sides and since my son and I remained close, his dad has never had anything to do with his son. I told my son it is his father's loss, not his or mine and not to worry about it.
I still insist he send his father cards for fathers day and birthday and call him once in awhile. Usually his father is too busy to talk with him and cuts it off short. Such a shame. It is the only child that either his father or I have.
His father and I both have remarried and now my son considers my present husband, who is a gem, his real father.
Parents will live to regret their decisions when it is too late.

May 22nd 2010 9:09PM I have been on Vytorin, which has both Zocor and Zetia in it, for
several years and have had no side affects. I did have cataract surgery and laser surgery on both eyes, but that was before my doctor put me on cholesterol medication. My doctor is very deligent in having my liver tested every year and so far, so good.
My cholesterol reading remains in the low counts.
I am 80 yrs old and my doctor says I am in good shape and should have another 10 to 15 years of life left. Certainly hope so.
He says I am a young 80 - how young can 80 be????
