BCS Quarantines TCU, Boise in 'Separate But Equal' Bowl {Fanhouse NCAA Football Blog}

Dec 9th 2009 11:24PM You wrote what I've been thinking all week. And, while we're at it, who can forget the guttless BCS, just a few years ago, pairing unbeaten Utah not in a put-up-or-shut-up showdown with Auburn or Virgnia Tech, but rather with nondescript Pitt in what had to have been an arranged marriage. The BCS is nothing more than college football's version of Jim Crow.

As Little Boy Loses Sight, He Asks to See USC Football as Final Wish {ParentDish}

Dec 4th 2009 9:07PM What a brave young man he is; God Bless him and the family. There are still good people (USC) out there willing to show kindness

Faith Hill Makes 'Hot' List {The Boot}

Nov 9th 2008 3:11PM GEEZ, None of these women would be half as sexy as I am if they had a handicapped child, no help at home and also had to work 70-80 hrs a week as a nurse, like I do. They have advantages that normal, hard working people do not have--nannies, personal trainers,plenty of money, cooks, plastic surgery, botox. It is ridiculous to hold them up as examples of what all women should look like! It makes me want to PUKE to hear about these over-rated women. Even with all that I have been through, bet they can't compare to me in the bedroom_LOL

Top ten dollar store bargains {WalletPop}

Oct 6th 2008 10:00AM Hey, I have been shopping the Dollar stores for years and ALWAYS find bargains and useful items. The only things I would avoid are the food items processed in another country in potentially unclean conditions/water. Even Wal mart charges more for virtually ANYof the same things

Black Bear Jumps Onto Car {AOL Video Blog}

Sep 23rd 2007 3:38PM On my job--as a home health nurse in a rural area near the Shenandoah Valley , Va--I have to carry a BB Gun to fire @ nesting bear that are in the yard near the home where I care for a crippled patient. Imagine that on your job description: MUST BE SHARP SHOOTER! LOL Otherwise, I could never safely make it to the front door!

Joe Namath: Peyton Manning Is the Best Ever {Fanhouse NFL Blog}

Feb 3rd 2007 10:41AM I believe that a player who passed pro football's ultimate test, and did it with flair and an incredible amount of self-imposed pressure, has all the credibility he needs to evaluate his position. Joe Namath knows more about the game of football, at all levels, than the Brian Ls of the world ever will. I wholeheartedly share his appraisal of Manning who, presently, is the best I've seen.

Are divorced moms less healthy? {ParentDish}

Nov 5th 2006 7:25PM I was divorced in 1991; remarried and had 2 kids 12 months apart; one of whom is autistic. Talk about stress. My 1st husband got custody of the 3 sons and never let me see them--I was too overwhelmed to fight him. Now they are in their 20's and do not give a rats ass about me. My health has suffered; I got high blood pressure, acid reflux and osteoarthrits along with panic disorder all by the age of 39. Both of my parents lived into their 90's--I will feel lucky to see 70.

Healthy eating leads to a healthy sex life {Slashfood}

Oct 1st 2006 7:43PM My father is 97 years old and has not one medical problem. He ate loads of fresh fruits/veggies/fish/berries and wheat bread--no coffee-no alcohol--no tobacco--plenty of exercise and he fathered 12 kids. My mother lived to be 90 and outlived all of her siblings by at least 10 years. It really is in the diet and exercise!!!!!
