Oct 26th 2010 11:44PM I'm sure that the author meant to use a clipper to cut an x in the feeder nipple, not the kitten's nippple... I once had to teach a kitten how to drink from a saucer. To do this, I placed an icecube in the center of a shallow saucer of water so that, when she licked the icecube, she also lapped up some water. It was not very long before she no longer needed the ice. She does still love a cube in her water once in a while.
