Jun 22nd 2010 1:43PM I am in the midst of a nightmare that began with a bogus check for $8.40 & continues over 3 weeks now, past 6 bogus payday loans. Though Fifth Third Bank was aware of fraudulent activity from the beginning, ( I was in that Bank everyday except weekends)it chose to pay all, cleaning my meager monthly stipend out & incurring huge overdraft fees. Despite following the Bank staff's instructions to the T, they went belly up on me & have altered my account record to fit their need. I've reported them to the FTC whose Agent referred me further to the Federal Reserve. To date, the Chicago, Phoenix, Scottsdale, Las Vegas Police & the FBI are involved. I am stone cold broke without even the pennies in my penny jar, until the beginning of next month.
