Only 5% of Underwater Homes May Qualify for Write-Downs {AOL Real Estate}
Mar 5th 2012 10:09PM @broke13-I'm NOT wrong. Yes, that's a capitalized NOT. I don't know which bank you've talked to, but I know for SURE that all the banks give you the run around -"Oh, we can't give you a modification because your loan is current"; "You don't qualify for a modification because you have too much income" (underwater loans); "You don't qualify for a modification because your income is not sufficient". Blah, blah, blah... That's what the banks will tell you when you are in the "modification process". Have you talked to people who are actually in the process of modifying? They will ALWAYS, and I can guarantee you this, tell a potential applicant he/she will not qualify "because you are current on your loan". They will always "lure you in the trap" and make sure you're behind and can't afford to catch up so they CAN take your house. This happens to good, HARD WORKING, used to paid on time regular folks. The banks are playing on the American peoples "moral beliefs". The banks KNOW they have the support of those who always think "those dead beats, why don't they pay their mortgage, they're biting off more than they can chew" type of mentality. The banks know YOU will support them because your mentality is SO SET on the belief that "because these lazy, free loading, not paying their mortgage, shouldn't have gotten the loan in the first place people" need to pay for what they did and so let the banks take back the home. That's the kind of mentality the banks are counting the American people will resonate so they (bank) can continue to "Fraudulently" take all the homes. Don't be SUCKED in by this mentality. Go ask those who were foreclosed on. Have you spoken to someone whose lost their home? Do you REALLY think they wanted to have their home foreclosed on? I can guarantee you that 99.9% of those who lost their home to foreclosure WANT to pay back the loan amount, only they needed a little help to make the monthly payments more manageable. Do you know the thing called Life? Sometimes bad things happen. People have unexpected life events happen - lost jobs, a sudden health circumstance, a death in the family -LIFE(albeit I will admit a small number of people have malicious intent to default). People DON'T normally WANT to be homeless. Do you? I KNOW this because I was in the same boat until "I" did my own research and learned about how these banks trick honest, hard working American citizens out of their homes. I've talked to many foreclosed homeowners. Those homeowners don't want a free hand out. They were willing to work something out, but the BANKS are too greedy. The BANKS are the ones who want their cake and eat it too. Don't listen to me. I dare you to go talk to one of those foreclosed homeowners. You think he wants to be embarrassed about the fact that he can't make his mortgage payments? You think he wants people to know that he's being foreclosed on? You don't think he's trying to find every POSSIBLE solution to make it so his family doesn't have to be out on the street. Think about that. Or are you still "STUCK" in your selfish morality mentality? NO ONE WANTS TO LOSE THEIR HOME - NO ONE. Think about that!

Mar 5th 2012 4:44PM @Brad - So stop paying your mortgage. Do a strategic default. That's what everyone is doing. Haven't you heard? The banks want people to loose their homes to foreclosure so they can collect on the insurance and what not. You need to stop following the "trend", listening to what's "moral" and what's not. Banks don't give a Sh*t about you. They just want your money. This settlement is a JOKE people. The average American Joe is as Dumb as a donkey. He listens to what the government wants him to hear. Do your own research and see that the banks are scamming you out of your money and they have ALL the politicians in their pockets. People, you need to WAKE UP and fight!!! This country isn't what it used to be.
Bedbugs Disclosures Now Required by NY State {Housingwatch}
Sep 19th 2010 9:57PM OMGoooosssshhhh, Saoirse, YOU'RE the ignorant person on this comment list. I CAN'T believe what a nincompoop (it's ACTUALLY a word! - look it up yourself!)you are! It just boggles me how ignorant you are and you keep commenting on this board. Go read an encyclopedia or something intelligent! Do you NOT read other's comments or have not actually done some research on bed bugs? Bed bugs are non discriminatory (yes that's a word too, if you didn't know!) The DON'T care if you have a clean house, but if you've got blood, it's a feast for them.

Bedbugs Disclosures Now Required by NY State {Housingwatch}
Sep 19th 2010 3:48PM The truth is, even if your house is SPOTLESS, you can still get bed bugs. They don't discriminate between a clean home or a dirty messy home! They don't discriminate if you're young, old, rich, poor, white, black, asian or such. Do you know what they DO LOVE? Your blood, my blood, anyone's blood. So PLEASE DON'T comment if you don't know all the facts about bed bugs or any other subject for that matter. It just annoys me that some people just HAVE to comment just because they have to comment without any knowledge of the subject matter. You can pick up a bed bug from an infested hotel, or someone who visits your home who's had bed bugs from their home. You just NEVER know. Bed bugs are great hitch hikers.

He Said/She Said -- My New Dude Is Amazing, Except in the Bedroom {Lemondrop}
Mar 21st 2010 9:03PM I totally know what you're going through! The sex is REALLY boring and just plane BLAH. I find myself having a Margarita or two before we have any sex. It just heightens the pleasure level up a little (just a little is better than nothing) for me. As for Stacey whose article this is on, it's a tough spot you're in. Sex is very important in a relationship. I would definitely tell my daughters when they find someone that they want to make a life with to make sure they find the person who will make them happy in life and in the bedroom as well. It's what you believe and want though.
How to Spot a Fake Anything {Shopping Articles Blog}
Apr 23rd 2008 3:11AM You can tell a fake LV bag by it's letter "LV". LV will never allow their product to cut into their logo. That's how you know.
Rolex - the second dial moves smoothly around the clock, while the fake ticks.
Diamonds - well, that depends on your taste. You can wear a fake and make it look real, or you can wear a real and know for yourself that it's real.
