Meet the eBay Millionaires {AOL Small Business}
Mar 28th 2011 2:10PM EBay can kiss my a$$!! I bought a pair of shoes on there and the guy sent me to left shoes. I wrote him and apologized and said I could keep the shoes (what the heck am I going to do with two left shoes?) and he promised to refund my money the next day and never did. After going back and forth with him and then finally getting no response, I turned to EBay for help. They reviewed the case and did not refund my money (nor did Paypal). Ebay said I had to return the shoes or they wouldn't refund my money. I reluctantly did so, as they were my "proof" and also I didn't want to pay for shipping, but I shelled out $15.00 to return them and they still denied my refund. They also shut down my daughter's account because she sold some purses and wallets that she had, but EBay wanted her to provide the receipts for them. Her dad and I gave her those purses and wallets over the past few years as birthday, Christmas, graduation, etc. gifts, and neither one of us kept the receipts. EBay does NOTHING for anyone! To make matters worse, my daughter's bank account was drafted for the funds (to return to a customer who wasn't happy with her purchase but had no valid reason why, even though the ad specified they were USED purses and sold AS IS) and her bank account was closed because she couldn't afford to pay the fees associated with it. Scandalous!
Beyonce's Mom: Pregnancy Rumors Are 'Not True' {PopEater}
Oct 20th 2010 8:21PM Read the entire article - she is married and has been since 2008, after a 6 year courtship. Don't be so ignorant, and as I stated before, her name (which you have such an issue with for some reason) is actually her mother's maiden name. Her mother wanted to preserve the family name somehow, and named her first born child Beyonce in an effort to do so. I find it rather amusing you feel the need to state your non-preference for R&B, "IS that what she sings?". What makes you think she sings R&B?? You have received your information from somewhere. Accept, it, get over it and find someone else's sac to jump on.
Beyonce's Mom: Pregnancy Rumors Are 'Not True' {PopEater}
Oct 20th 2010 8:16PM you're so transparent. No one in their right mind would spell a name phonestically, unless they heard it, not read it. Bee-on-say, or Beyonce as her mother named her (giving her first born daughter her maiden name)is a person. that's all you need to know. There is no need for you to broadcast your lack of intelligence all over this post. If you're not a fan of her's, her music, or the R & B music world as a whole, that's your prerogative naturally, but please, don't make this about her name. She did not name herself.!
Secret Regrets -- If You Could Do One Thing Over, What Would It Be? {Lemondrop}
Sep 14th 2010 8:34PM I have a few regrets. I regret cheating on my boyfriend, whom I loved VERY much. We were together from the time I was 16 until the time I was 19. I am 36 years old and STILL regret that. I also regret the day that I accidentally amputated the top portion of my daughter's pinky finger. I was in the bathroom doing my hair, getting ready to take her to Chuck E. Cheese's. She was 2, excited and impatient with mommy. She kept running back and forth from the living room to the bathroom to see if I was ready yet. I lost my patience with her and told her to go sit on the couch and wait for me, and not to ask me again. Then I slammed the bathroom door closed. I had NO idea her hand had been wrapped around the door, in the frame, while she was standing there talking to me. The door caught her pinky and severed it, and she is now missing the top part. I know it could have been so much worse, but I also know that it was completely avoidable, on my part. She is 19 now, but so very insecure about the way her hand looks.
I also regret a lot of financial mistakes that I made. I wish when I was younger I would have realized the value of a dollar a little more, and would have started saving then.
I also regret listening to, and trusting someone who had no qualms about having mye do something that he knew would land me in jail, but failed to tell me.
I do realize that everything in life shapes our futures, but there are some lessons I could definitely live without!! lol
Secret Regrets -- If You Could Do One Thing Over, What Would It Be? {Lemondrop}
Sep 14th 2010 8:17PM to Mark H. - Herpes isn't a death sentence. I say, if it's not too late, go get your woman :)
and Elizabeth -no, Herpes is NOT curable, however, many people live with it every day and are fine.You just have to be careful with it, and watch for flare ups, outbreaks, skin to skin contact, etc. Maybe it's YOU that should be doing your "research". There is NO cure for Herpes. It's not nice to give people false information like that, Elizabeth!
Secret Regrets -- If You Could Do One Thing Over, What Would It Be? {Lemondrop}
Sep 14th 2010 8:12PM I, too, was surprised at the ages of most of these girls, but the fact that they are young does not make their pain or regret any less real. Who are you (anyone who has something negative to say to them or about them) to basically demoralize these women? Yes, they have a lot of life to experience still (God willing) but that doesn't mean that what they've experienced up until this age isn't valid. Regret is regret, no matter at what age a person has it. It's still painful, and no one's pain is any bigger or smaller than the next person's pain.

Mos Def Encourages Science Education {The Boombox}
Sep 6th 2010 7:25PM In response to l1a1h1, have you listened to Mos Def's music lately? Have you ever listened to it at all? I happen to feel that Mos Def is a positive influence and that this partnership will be a good one. I do agree with you on the typo's, though. AOL should have had someone edit this article!
Cocktail Tip! What to Do With Leftover Maraschino Cherry Juice {Lemondrop}
Aug 25th 2010 8:16PM I can't see the video because I'm not at home, but based on the comments (hot dog bun dipped in cherry juice, then deep fried?) this reminds me of the episode of The Simpson's where Marge makes her dessert dogs. I know it's just a cartoon, but I have been salivating over those things ever since I saw that episode!! Lol
HS Basketball Star Actually 22 Years Old, Arrested as Imposter {Fanhouse Backporch}
May 13th 2010 7:24PM are you serious???? He COULD have to forfeit??? Ok people, the can of worms is open - he's not a high school student, so yeah... he doesn't need to go back, nor play on the team. This is crazy!!!
How Could You Not Love Beyonce's Nails? {BV on Beauty}
May 13th 2010 3:39AM Julio - how the heck is Beyonce a half breed? In order to be a half breed, you have to be half of something. The only thing she is 'half' of is black. Ignorant fool!
I'm not into Beyonce that much, but I do enjoy her talent and beauty. I don't think though, that I've ever watched a video and looked at the color of someone's nail polish. That, to me, seems a little stalker-ish! lol
