If you are one who believes that God is in everything, then you are also one who perceives that even the UNIVERSE is in fact God Itself. (But...he didn't say that he 'doesn't' believe in God...he just said that 'God'.. didn't create the universe.) People get so upset over words. If you believe in you faith then why should you attack his character. Hawking's job is to think and evaluate....he uses his brain to it's full capacity. Something that many of his critics can't even fathom.
