Jun 1st 2011 3:34PM Marilyn Monroe was in a class all by herself. She was gloriously beautiful and at the same time down to earth without makeup still perfection. She was brilliantly funny as well as sexy beyond anyone working in films today. Watch her performance in "The Prince and The Showgirl" which her own company produced. She was the best thing in the film and the dialog was delivered so well and so funny. Look at "Bus Stop" for another wonderful performance and "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes". I saw "The Seven Year Itch" in NYC when I was only 14 years old and no one to this day can light the screen that way and with such fragile beauty. All the people you mentioned in the article other than maybe Scarlett Johanssen could not do one of her films, none have the magic or vulnerability that Marilyn had on screen. I think it is fantasitic that no one even comes close to her after all these years. There is nothing like being an original and Marilyn was that. Just like Elizabeth Taylor, they both have no peers, wanna bees yes but no peers. Hollywood called her dumb but she was smart, complicted and sad maybe but not dumb. I have all her best films on DVD and it reminds me each time I see one just how much she is missed.

May 9th 2011 3:27PM Rather a foolish article....white is for total beauty and glamour, it is without a doubt the most pleasing color for a couch if you can keep it clean...other than white, most neutrals ate next choice...warm lines colors, even taupe linen...I have only had white couches since the 1970's ( not the same ones ) lol, so I guess my "new Beginnings' have lasted a very long time...

Mar 21st 2011 11:55AM I think Glee will go way down hill now anyway, it's not the gay kiss that is the reason, it has simply lost any of it's original charm and is now a propaganda tool. It was such a refreshing and off beat show in the beginning. They used to imply and be so much more interesting but now it is just like reality TV, not fun anymore and very mediocre.You cannot keep an audience when it is only for lovers of Madonna, Britney Spears or Lady GA GA fans.The Foo Fighters are right to say NO THANKS!They are not the first nor will they be last.

She is obviously missing a few screws to have been given so many chances for success and still has this wish to self destruct. Betty Ford Clinic cannot help this woman. She wants to go down in flames. These days you can sweet talk your way out of anything if you have the money but one day even this poor soul will go back to Jail and for a very long time. Self dicipline is not in her genes.
