Aug 5th 2010 12:22PM I live in upstate New York, with a lot of immigrants from everywhere, including Spanish speaking countries. Having gangs is an economic issue rather than an issue of national origin. They are primarily found in areas where people live in poverty, although we have some suburban wannabees. It appears they form when people lose hope and feel powerless. Believe me, I am not condoning them, whoever or wherever they are, they are destructive and dangerous, but the Latino people I live and work with are hard working, family oriented people.

Aug 25th 2009 11:59PM Many of my clients, especially those with personality disorders, really abuse the health care system. They go to thd ER to avoid going to treatment or cleaning their rooms. If they had no money for personal needs, because they have to pay at least 100.00 per copay, they might stop. (this is money given by the government above and beyond food and shelter). They often complain that they are paying too much to be in a mental health residential program. I sometimes ask them for their paystubs, so that I can address this issue. Noone has a pay stub.

I hate that song about the woman who trashes someone's truck because he cheats on her... how stupid. Get a clue and just walk away.
