Apr 6th 2011 8:44PM Who becomes a cop? Not anyone who has the potential to be an MD, scientist, or scholar. I've never met a policeman that had that kind of intelligence or talent. Most that I know of were dumb jocks . . . or worse: dumb wanna-be-jocks (guys with small frames that had a complex about their lack of stature). If a grown man is afraid of an 8 year old that has no weapon other than a chair, then he's a wimp. Any cop that would pepper spray a little kid who doesn't have a lethal weapon should be JAILED for CHILD ABUSE. And another thing - I would never advise any woman to EVER date a cop. I've heard enough studies & stats that prove that cops have a much higher incidence of domestic violence than the normal male population. Good for nothing scumbags.

"Hispanics" are not a race or a sub-race, it's just a word that describes people who speak Spanish or are from a Spanish-speaking culture ("culture", like "language" is *not* the same as race). If those people came from Europe, then they are Caucasian. If they're from the western hemisphere such as Cuba, PR, Dominican Republic, or the southern Americas, then their descendents are either from the native peoples that migrated there thousands of years ago, or from descendants of Black slaves who originally came from Africa, or European settlers (caucasians) that arrived only centuries ago.

The "native" people of Canada are *not* Caucasian. The natives from north america were Eskimos and other natives who came to that continent thousands of years ago. They came from the East (racially, they are "asian", even if their ethnicity is "native american").

Sep 2nd 2010 9:15PM The most respect anthropologists agree that are only 3 races: Caucasian, Asian, & Black African. Skin color does *not* determine one's race.

Caucasians can be dark-skinned (people from the Middle East, Egypt, or India) and Caucasians can be light-skinned (Scandinavians, Russians, northern Europeans).

Similarly, Asians can be dark-skinned (south east Asians such as Vietnam or Thailand, and the native American Indians of South America and Central America & the native Caribbean islanders such as Puerto Rican natives that came to the New World by canoes across the Pacific ocean thousands of years ago).

Asians can also be light-skinned (Mongolians that crossed the Bering Straights into Alaska & North America 12,000 years ago) and northern Koreans and northern Chinese.

The quote below makes it sound as if people from India aren't Caucasian ---- which is misleading because they are Caucasian !!!
