Oct 19th 2009 9:55AM I have only shopped K-Mart a few times. I don't recall ever making a purchase though. The stores are very dirty, unorganized, and the merchandise is very low quality and the staff appears to be very uneducated and rude. The people patronizing the store appear to be lower class as well. I wouldn't waste my money. I prefer quality over cost. However, M. S. products do not seem like quality products and I would venture to say she doesn't have M.S. on her bed or in her bath! I wouldn't buy M.S. anyway after knowing she has sweat shops making her products. It's wrong!

Oct 1st 2009 1:02PM If mom is not seeking a hand out then why is this in the news. She said , Sean gave family members bags of money. Is this what she is accustom too? Sorry, no one owes her anything. She is a very greedy person. She, deserves nothing. I don't know that we are hearing the entire story. However, Mom needs to sell the condo and use the money to put flowers on Sean's grave. Shame on her for taking money from her son in the first place. It was not his place to support his mother. She should be ashamed! She should go back to the getto life she came from. Again, Greed makes me sick. I have worked for everything I have. Just because I might have more money than others in my family doesn't mean I owe them anything. And, I got news for all of them, when my husband and I die, 100% of all of our money and assetts will go to our children. Other family members have not even been considered. If the children bicker one time over the money or assetts it will all go to charity. I wont allow them to be greedy. they get what we give them!! that's what's wrong with people these days, they sit around and wait for someone to hand them a bag of money so they don't have to work. Grrrrrrrrr.

Oct 1st 2009 12:39PM You people don't seem to understand there was no will. He died. Sister's beneficiary on life insurance. Dad shared joint acct. with Sean. Joint acct. automaticly goes to survivor on acct. The rest of his money went to his child.
Moral of Story: Mama you cant depend on your child. Get another part time job and support yourself. Stop being mad at Sean for dying and not leaving you enough money to live your new found life style. Downsize, sell the 200, + condo, get another part time job and live like you did before Sean gave you a taste of the upper class life style. This happens too much. Athletes make it into the pro's, make good money, bail their families out of the getto, But, the family can't afford the taxes or up-keep on what they have been given so the athlete has to continue to support for the rest of their lives, then one day they look up and their carreer is over do to injury, crime, drugs, or whatever reason and they can't continue to support the entire family's higher life style. Family get's angry because the hand outs stop. Sorry, Dad and sister owe mom nothing. Mom needs to move on. Sorry about your loss but let's remember the loss of your son is more important than "the bags" of money he was handing out. Get over it. Greed simply makes me sick.

This is a very bad business move for the merchant and for the consumer. Those of you running your mouth about ck. writers definately do not understand. Have you ever seen an add: 5% DISCOUNT FOR CASH?? I am a business owner so, Let me explain: Your invoice amount is
$2,000.00 + 10 % tax = $2,200.00 + 5% charge card fee =
$2,310.00 total invoice. The 5% is a fee the charge card company charges the merchants for charge card transactions. Now, this 5% is passed on to you the consumer. The banks are the ones wanting to do away with checks, not the merchants. This is just another way the banks see they can make more money to continue giving their CEO'S Billion dollar bonuses. Now that you understand, perhaps you will stop running your mouth about someone writing a check and taking away 5 sec. of your precious time. In reality that person may have just saved you a 5% increase in your grocery bill. You should thank them.

Trudy. as for your college comment. we paid for my daughters four year R.N. Degree. Does that make her an irresponsible brat? Does that make us bad parents? I don't think so. We didn't want our daughter graduating with a huge debt. She earned her college degree being paid for by being a straight "A;' honor student 4 years of high school. would I let my 16 year old sail around the world ? NO. But, I'm not judging her or her parents either. If you have a dream and you are able to make that dream come true then why not follow it? There are many people with money and many of them do help the homeless and the poor but, are we supposed to just roll over and give all our money to non working people? Let's not forget many homeless are homeless by choice. Many poor are poor by choice. I guarantee I am very cautious who I donate my money to. It's my money I worked for it and I don't owe you or anyone else anything. My donations are by choice. I live my life as I see fit the same way I spend / donate my money.. Get off the girl. Let her live her dream. Be happy that she is able to follow her dream instead of casting judgement on someone you don't even know anything about. Instead of being jealous of what others have. Work on your own finances, debt, and become self sufficient by learning how to manage and save money. Someday you too will have a dream others feel is silly but you will want support.

for you that said women only care about money, your wrong we care about more. Money, size, fashion, personality, looks, size, height, weight, size, lol we care about the same things in a relationship as men do. We want stability just like men do. Now there are always those women whom I guess do just care about money but in a real loving relationship most of us care about the other stuff. I do know men who are in relationships for the money too. I know women who just don't know how or don't care to be a good wife. Wont cook, wont clean, wont work, want to be pampered and treated like a queen and that is there life. I on the other hand choose to be a good wife and for the most part I treat my husband like a king but on the other hand he treats me like a queen but we have things in perspective and I still do my part in the marriage and he does his.
