Jun 30th 2009 6:27AM How far will God have to go to wake people up????? A child IS a person at the moment of conception. He or she just does not "appear" as a human being at a certain point. Abortion is MURDER and God WILL judge!!! Blood for blood. Oh how the ground cries out with the innocent blood of these children who never even had a chance or a choice. I thank God for this little one's miracle survival. May it have a great impact on those unsure as to what human life is.

Apr 9th 2009 12:59AM so nice to hear GOOD news for a change. I like Charley Pride. He is a rare one, for sure. I have known of him since the 1960's when I was a kid and the dude STILL looks young and sounds great! And I have never heard any bad thing of him. That is saying A LOT for a star.

Mar 21st 2009 12:21PM First off, I believe an incorrect reference was made("even though there is a real-life black man in the highest office in the land with a black wife, Disney obviously doesn't think a black man is worthy of the title of prince. I guess Sasha and Malia and all the other little black girls out there should just shut up and be thankful to have something! Little black boys will have to wait another 20 years.") First off, President Obama is bi-racial NOT black. His parents as far as race goes, were a "white" mother and "black" father. This makes President Obama BOTH, NOT one or the other. Why try to drum up trouble and strife? The senior Obama had no problem with race and neither did his wife, thus came little Obama. Stop trying to milk the brown cow to death, already. Little Sasha and her sister have NOTHING to worry about as far as suitors go. They can go anywhere with anyone they chose. We can only pray they chose wisely just as we should pray for our own children.

Mar 3rd 2009 7:46PM Well Don, I beg to differ with you on that one. I know a woman who is probaly over 300 pounds. She keeps herself clean and well groomed and dresses pretty decent, though not exactly in designer fashions. She is 34 and she lost her husband a few years ago. That has not stopped her one bit. She is not at a loss for attractive men to pay attention to her. It is the way she carries herself and her confidence in her sexuality that attracts men to her. Though I do not approve of sex outside of marriage, that is HER and not me, that has chosen to live that way. Last I heard, she had a young pup of about 25 that she has been seeing for a couple of years, now. And "No", she does NOT have money. She gets a small pension from her dead husband and she has five kids, but one does not live with her.

Feb 11th 2009 2:48PM What a beautiful and totally UNSELFISH thing to do!!! Yes, in olden days and insome countries still, there are "wet nurses" that will nurse another woman's child if she cannot for some reason or another do it herself. I saw one of my ex sisters in law offer to feed my grandson once while we visiting because my daughter-in-law was having great difficulty nursing. They all thought the baby was much too skinny and wanted to help, but being my DIL is American born, she was not too keen on the idea. So they just gave her a bottle of formula. Needless to say, my grandson is almost 2 now, and he eats everything!! But I appreciated and still appreciate healthy women offering to help "wet nurse" someone elses child. I would even do it myself, if needed. My youngest will be 5 in October, and I had him when I was nearly 42. I nursed him just fine and he is a butterball. I might mention, that he was probaly close to 2 when he completely got off the breast. NOT A THING WRONG with that!!! But when they start talking and asking for it or whatever, that is where I would have to really cut it off. But Salma, you go girl!!!!

Feb 2nd 2009 9:58AM Sex sells. So let's ALL just open up businesses and promote it and get rich. UH NO!!!! There is such a thing as having good morals and decency. Singing about sex and drugs even if you did not live that particular type of lifestyle would NOT excuse you. You are still accountable because you are basically "promoting" it. People that admire you and especially young people that look up to these music artists, are very impressionable. I we could have more positive and good morals building material, it would help a lot. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate Toby Keith's music and talent as much as the next person. I am not bashing him but I do feel that each of us need to examine what we say, sing, write, etc. that is for public viewing/pleasure before we do make it public. Would we want our children growing up in that kind of lifestyle, etc? They will think it is an "alright" way of life.
