Mar 22nd 2010 10:31AM As most Americans I am not happy with the results of the vote. My understanding is, the bill must go back to the senate and they can add amendments to it. I strongly feel that one of the amendments should include: anybody testing positive for illegal drugs should not receive free medical care, testing should be completed on 100% of the people requring medical care, then let the drug enforcement unit handle it from there. This will not be such a popular bill then, and the cost would be reduced by 50%. I am a retired military member and I am ashamed of what has happened to our country.

Nov 28th 2009 12:36PM I do not understand. Where are these polls coming from. Job approval!! He has not done anything. He has surrounded himself with people who know less then he does. Obama is a front man for the Mob and unions. Black, white or whatever this country is over the slave thing. The middle and higher class African American voters will put this idiot out of office. We have worked hard to get where we are today, and you liberals are not going to take it away. You will see when the voting booths close the curtain, the true numbers will come out. Obama has nothing in common with the African Americans, he is a Harvard Yuppie with a very dangerous agenda.

Nov 8th 2009 9:53AM I lived in the UK as a member of the Air Force for 10 years. I became friends with many Brits, and their service is terrible. (so much paper-work to get anything done, and months to see a doctor Also, why do so many people from Canada come to the US for treatment.
Another thing, the telephone system is run by the government. It only takes 3 months to have a land line installed in your home when you first move in. The largest employer in the world is the British Government, how would you like to pay 70 per cent of your wages in taxes.

Nov 8th 2009 9:43AM This is such a bad bill! How can you consider passing a bill by one vote a great victory. There are many, many items in this bill that are questionable if the government can do this to us, or maybe items are un-Constitutional. Since this is such an important subject, and it will effect the country in many ways maybe a special election should be held, because our the people of our country are not being properly represented. Not with all the back door deals being made.

Nov 8th 2009 9:26AM This is the first step in a dictator take-over. Last summer I meat a lady who lived in Germany when Hitler came to power. My question to her was how did the good people of Germany let a monster like Hitler take over the country. He was very, very popular with the people. After the Czar they had, he was like a gift from God. The first think that Hitler did was deceive the people, then took over the media, and then the government moved in to take over all aspects of people's lives. Obama can not stand criticism, when he fights back he hits below the belt.
I thought the main stream would take the gloves off and do their jobs after the 100 day honey-moon. Because of Obama's every-day photo ops, and the media kissing his royal butt the American people have been so deceived that bad bad things are in the future. The national medical service is not what people think it will be. The poor of America and the Seniors will be hurt. (and if you do not want insurance, you could get a $15,000 fine or spend 15 years in prison. Obama can not relate to the poor people of the United States. His hate for America goes back the 20 years that he sat in Rev Wright's church listening to the problems that America had in the past. Obama is too "good" to be able to relate the the average person. His skin may be dark, and he may consider himself African American, but he is too nurtistic to ever put himself at the same level as the average American, White or Black. This country has come a long way, and it still has a long way to go, the average people of the country are the ones who are going to get screwed, again. The complete leftist people that he has surrounded himself with, and their public comments about Marxism and that the government knows what is best for the people of this country goes directly against the Constitution of the United States. The media should do a better job on reporting the facts and let the people know what's going on. He can not take you all on, or does and body have any balls left!!
