Robosigning Settlement: Millions From 'Foreclosure Party' Firm {AOL Real Estate}

Mar 26th 2012 10:16PM Why is no one going to prison ? The guys at the top "agree" to stay out of the business for two years ? They can do their 'time' on the golf course or at the country club. When is the government going to grow balls and put the white collar crooks in prison for more years tan I can count ?

'Project X' Copycat Revelers Allegedly Wreck $500,000 Home {AOL Real Estate}

Mar 15th 2012 6:29PM Similar events took place several times where I lived a few years ago (mid-Atlantic State). Don't wait for the kids parents to step up and pay for the damage - they will spend a hundred thou for a lawyer before they will offer even a few hundred for damages. And in one of the cases, the local cops misplaced their notes; not even a court appearance for the brats.

Family Wrongly Booted From Home Returns To Wreckage {AOL Real Estate}

Dec 1st 2011 11:32AM BOA has a sorry history during the mortgage mess. In this case, BOA should pay, in full, for a newly constructed, identical house for the family. Also, BOA should pay, in full, for the demolition of the old house including site cleanup. And the a-double scribble BOA official who made the mistake should have his/her face plastered on every billboard within 50 miles of the location. Gee - maybe there will be criminal charges, too.
Would be so fitting to have one of these overpaid idiots go to prison.

Mortgage Broker Sued for Causing Thousands to Lose Homes {AOL Real Estate}

Nov 2nd 2011 11:57AM The penalties in this case should include (1) full restitution of all funds paid by the government (2) life in prison with no chance of parole for all remaining officers of the company (3) permanent loss of citizenship.
I agree; others in the financial industry should be prosecuted to the max.
But little chance of that; too many of the crooks have been donors to the political parties. And the AG seems more interested in playing 'small ball'
than is really doing his job.

Foreclosure Victims Plan Protests Across U.S. {AOL Real Estate}

Sep 19th 2011 9:58PM Foolish decisions and/or poor advice. No matter the good intentions, should not have stepped into the spider's web. The lender saw a chance to take ownership if/when the Mitchells defaulted on their loan. Foolish too, to borrow and spend $20,000 for the attorney. The Mitchells meant well; but someone should have stopped them from jumping into the lake of debt. Older folks need help; they fail to spot the trap until it's too late. Case in NJ - widow signed up for a reverse mortgage; spent the entire front end cash for remodeling her home (which she no longer owned).
Wound up with no money to pay monthly bills; lost the house; lost her independence; became a charity case.

California Considers Expelling Kids for Sexting {ParentDish}

Jun 8th 2011 8:15PM Do something about the real problem: ban cell phones from the classroom ! Then suspend those who bring the phone into class; expel for the third offense. Make the parents take responsibility for their spoiled darlings - ain't that an idea ?

Parents Busted for Kids' Rotten Teeth {ParentDish}

Apr 28th 2011 9:18AM One more example of why some couples should not bring children into the world. Get it straight. Parenting is a long term career which starts at birth and lasts about 21 years. Those who won't
deal with the responsibility should be limited to playing house
but not creating a life.

Woman Sued Carnival Claiming Cruise Ship Was Too Fast {AOL Travel News}

Mar 23rd 2011 6:55PM People and attorneys who file lawsuits like this should post a non-refundable bond to cover initial court costs. If the court system examines the case and accepts it for trial; refund the bond and proceed. If the review judge dismisses the action as 'without merit'
(which in this case he/she would) the bond is forfeit. My tax dollars pay for the existence of the judicial system; DO NOT WASTE MY MONEY !

School Bus Driver Busted for Texting 1,000-Plus Times {ParentDish}

Mar 21st 2011 11:52AM Administrative leave ? Punishment should be (1) jail time (2) fired
(3) permanent loss of CDL (4) permanent ban from public employment in the State where this happened. School districts should follow up by banning cell phones from all classrooms, and suspending the kids who violate this rule more than once. Don't talk to me about "perpetrators rights" !

TSA Agent Charged With Helping Drug Trafficker Through Security {AOL Travel News}

Mar 2nd 2011 8:12PM Let's hope the investigation is thorough enough that the (former) TSA employee can be gound guilty of all charges. Then - in addition to prison time, cancel her government pension, ban her from ever again working on the public payroll. And take away her US citizenship. I do not want to share my voting privilege with a piece of crap like her.
