The NFL should get receipts from all and pay them accordingly. Instead, the self-centered people want to take them to the bank. Our society is really twisted.

You can be assured that his children will be receiving the money he earns at this great opportunity he has been given. Shame on the liberal for condemning this man to take a gift he was given and had worked hard to perfect through schooling. The Democrats are the majority in the house and the senate and have the power. They don't need one Republican vote to pass their agenda's. You and many like you are the problem with this country. I, too, refuse to pay for such garbage that comes from most of these actors. Their morals and values are twisted and have contributed to the ruin of America.

Jun 19th 2010 12:41PM Bravo! It just irks me when the wedding couple sends a "thank you" note without acknowledging the entire gift. It took thought, time, and money to purchase the gift and to recieve a note that just states thank you is impersonal and generic. Some useful advice for those getting ready to wed be reasonable on your registry, if you can't afford it possibly your guests can't either. Also, make a personal comment on the thank you note that states that you actually know what your guest gifted you with. After giving a wedding couple a picture frame with their names personalized on it, which took time to order and money to have sent to our home along with a $100 dollar bill enclosed, we were thanked only for the money. Result, their future gifts will be very generic with no thought and forget any monetary gifts as they thrive on them without any true appreciation for anything but.

Jun 14th 2010 1:08PM Paula, reads as if Patriot, Truth and Reality, are far superior than you or I. Must be the "elitist" illusion they have going on in their heads. I don't understand the big deal about what Renee is wearing nor do I think that Michelle Obama is a fashion statement. I would have to agree, I often am dismayed by what people think is fashionable on her. She is no Jackie Kennedy nor will she ever be. She is a "wannabe" and needs to tone down on the photo ops. The spouse of the POTUS was not elected by the US citizen's, therefore, should stay in the shadows and serve the country as any proud American would in a dignified way. Her fashion statements are inappropriate and rather disgusting to represent our Country. Dress like a lady who's husband is the President and not as if your going to Soul train for the evening.
