Aug 26th 2010 11:43AM The best advice I got? Train them and then let it go! Teach them the ropes and the step back and wait for them to get it. We trained for weeks to no avail and then I just kind of dropped the subject and 6 days later, my daughter walked into my room, diaper in hand, and DECLARED that she would no longer be wearing diapers! That was it. She was potty trained. Good luck.

Aug 18th 2010 4:14PM What I want to know is why is my daughter VPK asking for a laundry list of cleaning supplies (along with "regular" school supplies) as well as snacks for two weeks out of the school year? The State of FL is offering this "FREE" program to FL residents and the participating school is being paid $2,600+ per child who is registered. When I asked if the list was mandatory, I was told "Oh, of course not. The list is voluntary."

Oct 30th 2009 10:38AM That's a ridiculous statement. All items are scanned at one time, you swipe your food stamp card first, to pay for all the food items, then the balance left you pay for with cash or a debit. It doesn't not take any longer to purchase with food stamps.

The Williams family lived in Compton for 5-6 years and they moved to WEST PALM BEACH FLORIDA when Serena was NINE YEARS OLD! To credit her behavior to her upbringing in Compton is idiotic. It took me 30 seconds to wiki this information. You make it sound as though they braved the harsh neighborhoods of Compton and had such a hard childhood. West palm Beach has it's plithy areas but it is in no way comparable to growing up in Compton.
