'Housewife' Kim Zolciak Shares Intimate Pregnancy Photo {PopEater}

May 4th 2011 11:52AM Looks like Kim is tired of Baby Daddy asking "Can you hear me now?!"

Other than that, this photograph should be placed as a family portrait FAIL.

What People Really Think About Britney Spears' 'Hold It Against Me' Music Video {PopEater}

Feb 19th 2011 11:54AM Why can't she sing with clothes on? Oh...I guess that would require an ability to actually have some sort of vocal talent.

Five visitation travel tips for divorced dads {Gadling}

Feb 7th 2011 3:42PM Wow - the comments really show how much judgment there is out there. I'm a divorced mother, and my children reside with my ex and for over a decade have been faced with the occasional idiotic question of being asked "Oh....so what did you do wrong? Addiction? Alcohol? Jail?" and the response I have is usually "If I was the father, like you as a divorced dad, what did YOU do wrong" or simply straight up - did what any other parent would do....and made a decision in their best interest at that time.

Yes, I pay support and the entire argument of anyone cheating has nothing to do with the kids. Visitation is about a parent's time with their children and has nothing to do with the failed marriage or the cause of a failed marriage. In fact, try not to talk about the divorce at all as sometimes children blame themselves.

I also advise to try your best never to bad mouth the other parent/stepparent. Kids very easily fall into feeling they are put in the middle, and sometimes that is substantiated. Keep it between you and them as much as posible.

Keep communication as much as possible.. texts, webchats, IMs, phones.. every little outreach matters. If the ex tries to alienate you from communicating with the child(ren) keep documents and logs so you can eventually file an order or petition for contempt and enforcement...but never, never...stop trying or give up.

ANYWAY this is an article to help those of us who live a distance from our children and how to handle the commute and visitation. I moved to VA from NJ in 2003 and what helped me was incorporating my visitations with my relatives and visiting places we used to visit when I lived near by, holding on to routine.

Then my ex moved to PA, another 100 miles further away. Yet we still swing by and visit my family in NJ, and the most important thing was keeping some simple routines such as having pizza the first and last night (NJ style pizza is hard to find in VA but I found a place, and now the kids understand!) as well as having basic routines such as no wet towels on the bed....

Another thing is to let children know that its okay if you have different lifestyles or rules in your home than their other home. My ex and his wife are bullies and the children when younger would get confused. The simple mantra of "MY house; My Rules" has made them realize we're simply different people.

The other thing that has proven true by a very close friend who was raised by his Aunt and Uncle in Kansas and didn't know that until he was 15 - and his biological mother that he thought was his Aunt lived in CA. Turns out he gave me the best advice of all, that the bond and love will always be there, and that the time spent together is like time never moved from the last visit. I know I've always felt that experience on my end (except they got taller!) and on thier own they recently confessed the same to me during out last visit.

Michelle Obama Unveils Anti-Childhood Obesity Action Plan {Politics Daily}

May 11th 2010 3:07PM No fried foods???? C'mon.. tater tots is one of the pleasures of school meals. Without them and the nasty mean lady with the hairnet. BTW.. I don't undertand where the First lady has any constitutional powers. I also feel to see where such laws could be Constitutional. I don't think our forefathers, rebels, brave men..... meant for the government to be a nanny state. Otherwise, we'd have the Nanny Branch of the federal government who would check to see if your diet was balanced.

I also don't undertand the need for a "Let's Move" program or Task force. When I grew up it was called "Phys Ed".

Woman Calls Off Wedding, but Won't Give Up $17,000 Ring {Lemondrop}

May 4th 2010 7:38PM Let the judge figure this one out. What piques my curiousity is how could a guy who didn't pay his share of the bills or rent afford a $17,500 ring? If the ring doesn't mean anything to her other than reimbursement, they friggen just give the ring back count your losses, let go and move on. Besides how much are they spending on legal representation over this? It's like having the divorce without the marriage! Who needs that drama?! Oh.. I guess people in Staten Island....

Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer Signs Tough Immigration Law {Politics Daily}

Apr 23rd 2010 7:02PM First, I think Obama is offended about this new law because he may be a bit nervous if he ever goes to Arizona himself...

Second, I totally support this bill. The Constitution and the Bill of Rights apply to "WE THE PEOPLE OF THE UNITED STATES" so if an illegal immigrant, unnaturalized citizen, who is not a person of the United States need to have any rights under our Constitution and Amendments?

Also Obama's never ending arrogance that he'll be keeping an eye out on Arizona to ensure that there are no civil right violations? PULEASE. Those that are LEGAL citizens of the US have nothing to worry about.

Besides the Constitution only gives The House to establish an uniform Rule of Naturalization - nothing else in the Constitution gives any other direct reference to immigration or enforcing laws against those not here illegally.

Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer Signs Tough Immigration Law {Politics Daily}

Apr 23rd 2010 6:52PM Poor example. If a cop saw a blonde haired blue eyed person with probable cause that they violated a law, the FIRST thing the police officer will ask for is for Drivers License, registration and proof of insurance. Why would this law, which states that with probable cause, to ask someone for documentation of their citizenship be any different?!

I also think the timing of the story of the 67 Immigrants in a U-Haul truck today doesn't support Arizona has a problem with illegal immigrants, the recent murder, I say go for it! Proud of Arizona to be bold enough to use what their state's rights.

Besides the Constitution only gives The House to establish an uniform Rule of Naturalization - nothing else in the Constitution gives any other direct reference to immigration or enforcing laws against those not here illegally. So this is going to be very interesting to watch considering Obama is considering immigration take over... oops.. I mean "reform". Which, well, I'm sorry I didnt see that listed under the Powers of the Executive Branch either.

Luv Coach Q&A: Disrespectful Behavior {BV on Love}

Apr 10th 2010 11:47PM "I started seeing this guy in October 2009, he was very attentive, always calling, always wanting to see me. By December, I noticed less calls, no dating, no inquiries as to when we would get together, in January I received an email that he needed some space. Two weeks after the email he calls and wants to chat me up. I haven't returned his call. I was very hurt receiving that email"

Why the frig would any woman, on her own, independent put her self worth on a man she dated briefly and only knew a few months? Apparently this man was able to smell the desperation of this woman.

He did nothing wrong other than keep his options open, and she apparently was a target for being a door mat.

Ladies, I'm a pasty white middle aged chick, but no matter your race, religion or what not, but it is these type "boo hoo" stories that make me want to expectorate profusely.

No man we barely know should define our worth. My advice, suck it up butter cup... you were nothing more than an option. He's not worth crying over and only worthy of your time if he can sexually perform an NOTHING more. He only rates as booty call worthy.

Biden Wants Better Reporting of Stimulus Dollars Use {Politics Daily}

Apr 6th 2010 6:02PM "The vice president and the independent Recovery Accountability and Transparency Board oversee the $787 billion stimulus program."

But they cannot account where the money went.

And "The Man" cannot understand why most of us are upset about the unwanted take over of 1/6th of our overall economy????

Gee... I wonder!!!!
