Apr 9th 2010 10:18PM you really don't know what you are talking about. There is nothing healthy about being underweight, even "slightly". Women are not designed to be stick figures. We are genetically built to carry extra reserves of fat to protect our bodies and fetuses during pregnancy. This is why underweight women develop amenorrhea, or the inability to menstruate. Stop listening to fashion mags and so called health experts who proclaim the virtues of looking like a man. And just so you know, yes, I have been overweight all of my life. Guess what? I'm 50, I'm physically active, look about 35 (as I have been told by most of the people I know) and have never had a serious illness. I have normal cholesterol, no heart problems, and no not even remotely diabetic. Overweight doesn't automatically mean unhealthy. Underweight doesn't automatically mean healthy. Your attitude is indicative of the problem in this society. I can't tell you how many times I have heard a mother tell her little girl she can't eat a certain food or it will make her fat, or that she looks fat in a certain style clothing, etc. Do you have ANY idea the amount of damage that does to a child's psyche? Perhaps you do.

Apr 9th 2010 12:19AM she meant don't use the brushes at the counter to try out makeup. Other people use them and they often don't get washed or sanitized, resulting in infections and other ick. As for whether or not to use toner, I think I would take the advice from someone who sells cosmetics than someone who thinks they know more than anyone else but obviously scanned the article or just didnt really understand it. Calm down dear, the world isn't here to validate YOU.
