UNC has had many players throughout its fabled history but most remain anonymous, hardly bearing individual legacies that match the programs's legacy itself.

Nature is a harsh mistress. Even in the absence of humans, life for all animals is brutish and short. Homo sapiens is designed to be omnivorous. It's written all over our physiology. Humans are at the top of the food chain. Enjoy it. Don't guilt trip over it. I assure you the grizzly bears and great white sharks aren't losing any sleep over their lot in life.
