Jan 4th 2012 8:56AM Think about this carefully. How much farm property is being sold in Iowa, that it's earth shattering news? If prices have risen 30%, it tells me that real estate brokers are ripping people off. Sounds like the same thing that happened not long ago that's put a lot of people under water with their mortgages and causes the RE meltdown. The ripoff works this way: every time a real estate "40 hour wonder(real estate course)" sells a house or property for even $1 more than it's worth, it creates a ripple effect in driving other prices up. That's how houses become over priced and that's how people get screwed in the market.
