Cable Host Mocks Ledger, Apologizes {AOL Video Blog}

Jan 25th 2008 5:04PM Dear John: Here's the thing about apolgizing for DOING/SAYING SOMETHING WRONG. You don't apologize for "offending someone" with what you said/did. You apologize for the thing you did. What you said was WRONG. It's not whether or not it "offended anyone" that you should be apolgizing for. You should be apolgizing for WHAT YOU SAID. Your apology was cowardly and insincere. Take responsibility for WHAT YOU SAID and apologize for SAYING IT. What a jerk. Par for the course with FOX NEWS. And they whine about why Obama won't come on -- Gee, do you think maybe its because of the glee with which all the FOX talking heads salivated over their premature reports presented "as fact" that Obama is a Muslim? FOX SUX.

French Bull makes for stylish food storage {Stylelist}

Dec 9th 2007 3:47PM When are we all going to come back down to earth? Since when does storing leftovers need to be "pretty?" I just use my old 70s tupperware, and saved deli containers. Do we really need to keep buying more and more and more stuff????

Study: women in their thirties make better mothers {ParentDish}

Nov 4th 2007 4:55PM I have to chuckle at all the young Moms who think they'll be done with parenting when their kids turn 18. ROTFLMAO. Hasn't anyone told them? How funny.

Oct 28th 2007 10:56PM Want to make a big impact? Get rid of bottled water. What an unecessary waste of energy, fuel and other resources. Next time you buy a big-ass case of bottled water from your local Costco, think about how much energy it cost to manufacture the bottles, how much fuel it costs to ship the bottles to the bottling facility, then how much cardboard and plastic wrap are used to package them into a case. Then they're loaded on to fuel-guzzling semi-trucks to every city in America. And why? Because we're all to damn lazy to get our fat butts off the sofa and into the kitchen to turn on the damn sink? Why can't we just fill a travel cup with water from our tap? It's pretty much common knowledge now that 90% of bottled water is nothing more than municipal tap water, not virgin springs from Shangri-la. If all of us gave up this "convenience" would our lives really change for the worse? Hell no. And it would make a HUGE impact.

Jun 11th 2007 7:48AM What I want to know is how does someone lose 100 or more pounds without resulting in skin draping all around the body. How do you lose that much weight and keep skin firm. Anyone?

Nancy Pelosi -- "out of bounds" {News Bloggers}

Apr 6th 2007 5:30PM So the 11 other government figures who have been to Syria recently are all okay? The majority of them have been Republicans, and not a peep. Hmmmmmmmmm..... GOP'ers have made a mistake by spinning this to their own devices...they should be sending a message to the world that it doesn't matter which party is wielding more power - Dems or Reps, that we are united with regards to foreign diplomacy and that we are vigilant in solving the terror problem, regardless of who happens to be Speaker, instead, they say to the world: Go ahead and mess with us now that the Dems are in power? Not too smart of the Reps, now is it? America's message should be "Do not tread on us, regardless of who's in power." Reps are wrong, wrong, wrong by taking this tactic. Shame on Cheney, et al.

Just how curvy is America Ferrara? {Stylelist}

Feb 7th 2007 2:51PM A size 14 in 1960 is WAY different than a size 14 today. Clothing manufacturers have tweaked sizes so much to pander to our egos that a size 14 from 1960 doesnt even come close to the size 14 we wear today. I am so sick of all this fixation on size, weight, fashion, etc...etc....War on Christmas my ass....there's a War on Women that is perpetuated in the media and pimped by the "men" in our lives who think they all deserve air brushed "trophy wives" and it is going to be our undoing....or our daughters.

It's okay, Britney. We've done it too. {ParentDish}

May 20th 2006 2:46PM My bad mommy moment came when I was busy preparing dinner. When she was just an infant, I would put her in a bouncy chair and set it on top of my kitchen island. Then I would prepare dinner, veggie chopping, etc....right there, with her happily in the middle of all my slicing and dicing. I was making tacos one night and chopped some rather strong onions. I was tearing up something terrible. Well, so was my daughter, but it never occurred to me it was for the same reason as I was. She was just wailing and I stopped and checked her diaper, made a bottle, gave here her binky, you name it. Do you think it would have occurred to me even once that she was crying because of the onions. Nope. She sat there the whole
time and sufferred because me, the idiot, did not make the connection that she was crying because of the onions. Only days later did I realize what the problem was. Hello!
