The Biggest Loser's Joelle just confuses me {AOL TV}
Feb 7th 2009 6:43AM Joelle strikes me as somewhat sociopathic. She's not deliberately mean, but she is completely self-centred, manipulative and a pathological liar. She's so used to lying that she doesn't seem to realize she is doing it. She also strikes me as not particularly bright and an extremely dull person. Something happened to make Joelle this way, probably in childhood.
I Want to Dress Like a '60s Secretary {Lemondrop}
Nov 25th 2008 11:03PM Gad, I love Mad Men too and nearly wept when the second season ended (cuz there is so little that's good on tv these days).
Your last paragraph cracked me up. Joan really is like a glorious sexy ship sailing around the clerical pool ministering to all the pretty but less powerful boats. I just love her and wonder where this actor has been. (Sadly, there's probably little available to a woman of her proportions in anorectic Hollywood despite the fact that she's stunning and capable.)
I'm impressed the producers had the courage to show at least a few women with 60s meat on their bones.
Heba from The Biggest Loser needs to shut her yapper {AOL TV}
Nov 12th 2008 10:25PM I can't help thinking Vickie is a sociopath. She is completely narcissistic. Her husband is only of value because he's useful to her. She doesn't seem to be particularly sympathetic towards him. I've never seen her tender or empathic towards anyone.
Heba from The Biggest Loser needs to shut her yapper {AOL TV}
Nov 12th 2008 7:01PM Someone should tell Vicky and Heba that hate weighs more than fat and they've got tubs of it to lose. The hatred also makes them the least attractive people on the show. Every week it's as if the two put on witch hats and stir up wrath in a cauldron. They are the biggest losers but not in the weight or winning department...but attitude. I feel sorry for Vicky's kids growing up with an evil bitch like that.
I'm liking the leaner, meaner Law & Order: SVU {AOL TV}
Oct 5th 2008 5:03AM I'm growing more disgusted by the minute with this show. The most recent episode in which they air the tortured screams of a pedophile teenager being viciously murdered is beyond the pale. Is this what they think the viewing audience needs to hear to tune in? Call me turned off and tuning out. The only L&O show I like anymore is Criminal Intent. SVU has become another sensationalized show that thrives on shocking it's audience as much as possible.

Beth, I'll never understand people like you who insist on reading bloggers you think are bad people. Move on, Miss Holier than Thou. Here's an example of something morally reprehensible: Catholics who give the Pope who protected pedophile priests the benefit of the doubt; not mommies and daddies making subtle harmless jokes in their homes.

May 1st 2008 8:49PM Jessica, if you're so over Linda why do you keep coming back to read her posts? Jealous much? Too much time on your hands? Perhaps you need to get out in the community and volunteer. Oh my, don't do that. We don't need you inflicting your horseshit personality on innocent people.
Guilt leads to the Dark Side {ParentDish}
Apr 30th 2008 5:07AM Jackie has way way too much time on her hands. She needs a hobbie besides running around the blogosphere finding petty fault with other people.
What the hell is it about Parent Dish that attracts so many juvenile bitches? I sincerely hope these vile creatures don't have children because I hate to think about what they're teaching by example.
Guilt leads to the Dark Side {ParentDish}
Apr 29th 2008 2:08AM The following info might be useful to you, Linda since you're bottle feeding, and possibly a lot of mothers. "The Canadian government has banned polycarbonate infant bottles as it officially declared one of their chemical ingredients toxic. Nalgene brand water bottles had used bisphenol-a, which some studies in animals linked to hormonal changes. The move by the departments of health and environment is the first action taken by any government against bisphenol-a, or B.P.A., a chemical that mimics a human hormone and that has induced long-term changes in animals exposed to it through tests."
Apparently bisphenol can change genes and cause cancer. The evidence is so overwhelming and the chemical so dangerous the government immediately banned these bottles. Stores stocking plastic bottles containing the chemical have removed them from shelves even though the ban hasn't extended to water bottles and so on...the government says it will be a year before a total ban is in place. But in the meantime, babies won't be exposed. I don't think this ban is in place in the US since Canada is the first country in the world to have such a ban in place (to the best of my knowledge).
