May 7th 2010 1:47PM I too am an American citizen, born here. If a policeman asked to see my ID, I sure would not tell him to go to Hell. I would respect him and show what he asked for, then politely go on my way.

May 7th 2010 1:38PM Being ILLEGAL is breaking. When our forefathers came over here to make this country, there were no laws made yet. Laws have been made about illegals in this country to protect the citizens of American. WE cannot take care of everyone, nor should American be expected to. I can understand people wanting a better life. Why don't they work on making their country better? It could be done if they would focus on doing it instead of focusing on stealing into the US. I have a big problem with the word ILLEGAL. It in itself means a law is being broken.

May 7th 2010 1:30PM Ed, I got pulled over late one night, I had been drinking only WATER! The policeman told me I was weaving. When he saw I had not been drinking, he said he was sorry and I went on my way. Yes he did asked to see my licence and registration and proof of insurance. No biggie. I would gladly show my birth certificate if it would help to keep illegals out. I am proud to be an American citizen and would not have a problem showing my papers to anyone.. Yes there are some crazy bully cops. I have encounted some of those but that should make no difference in this law.

May 7th 2010 7:35AM I agree with you. If we stand up for American citizens against illegals we get call racist or bigots which is totally wrong. I am just sick of the whole mess. My forefathers did not fight to make America free only to have it taken over by illegals. If you want to be in this country, do it legally! And do you know that one of the requirements is to be able to speak English?

May 7th 2010 7:32AM It is amazing how people assume the wrong thing. A law making it ILLEGAL TO BE ILLEGAL and breaking the law? I thought illegal already was illegal and breaking the law.

Mar 22nd 2010 8:44AM Illegal aliens should NOT be able to get any benefits of any kind in this county. They are ILLEGAL! They broke the law in the first place. If they want to come legally, then let them do it. I am so sick of people coming into this country illegally and getting all the benefits that the citizens do. I am not against people who want a better life for themselves and come into the country LEGALLY!!!!

Sep 25th 2008 6:47AM I tend to like Maria's comment also, give the money to the taxpayer's and the economy will take care of itself. I for one have a real problem with paying taxes to bail out greedy people and people who wish to live above their means. People get a grip, you do NOT need a huge house to be happy.
Bike to Work Week starts Monday! {WalletPop}
May 8th 2008 10:06PM All last summer I took the bus to work, put my bike in the bus's bike rack and biked home. I intend to do that was long as the weather permits. Then I'll just take the bus. I got my exercise, got home from work and saved money on gas. It just makes sense to me. Gas will never get any cheaper unless we stop paying such high prices for it. I take my bike nearly everywhere. And I am 54 years old.
Brad comforts Angie {ParentDish}
Dec 23rd 2007 7:00PM Having had a spouse commit adultry, I cannot be a fan of Brad and Angie. I have utmost respect for Jennifer, for the way she handled the whole situation. In my opinion she is a true lady and Brad blew it. Adultry is the worse thing you can do to someone.
