Introducing Purple Is a Fruit {Lemondrop}
Sep 18th 2008 7:24AM So glad Purple is a Fruit is back!!
Things I am no longer capable of doing now that I'm a parent {ParentDish}
Jun 13th 2008 9:46AM Oh my god, it is like you are in my head!
At least I'm not as weird as I thought I was :)
Making small talk about the kids {ParentDish}
Jun 11th 2008 8:04AM I love to talk about my son, but I usually go into details with people that I know have kids too.
I have also said things that I feel bad about, pretty much because I don't want to be like, "oh my son is perfect!"
I saw a woman at work the other day who just had a baby (her 3rd) and I asked her how he was and she just said great. I wanted to hear more.....birth story etc. I am nosy.
This just in: Parenthood apparently requires parenting skills {ParentDish}
Jun 4th 2008 8:31AM Don't feel bad, my son was 4 when he would finally poop on the potty. When he was ready he just did it, and never had a accident again! Of course he still likes to hold it most of the day, and then his poop is the size of a bowling ball and clogs the toilet.
Life with a nearly-3-year-old {ParentDish}
May 30th 2008 8:23AM You crack me up! That was great, and so true!
Double trouble for Brangelina! Twins on the way {ParentDish}
May 15th 2008 7:20AM What's up with that? Twins?
I hope she gets really really huge (which she won't)
Feeling weird without the kids {ParentDish}
May 2nd 2008 1:31PM Wow, I feel the same way!
I didn't think anybody felt like that too.
The worst part was right after I had my son and was still "recovering." If I went anywhere without him I'd feel so strange, kind of like, "I don't normally look like this, I just had a baby!"
Stressing about vaccinations {ParentDish}
May 1st 2008 2:49PM Eric got his shots when he was supposed to, I think. Since the Dr. scheduled the next appts.
I remember the appt. when he got like 8 shots in both legs. He cried, I cried, and his binkey went flying across the exam room.
Spankings as discipline {ParentDish}
Apr 21st 2008 3:43PM I got chills reading that post because I feel exactly the ame way about the spanking thing. I can have a bad temper and I know that if I have gotten to the point where I want to spank, I am way beyond the point that I should. I am not totally against spanking, I just don't do it myself.
What to do when your kid won't try something new {ParentDish}
Apr 15th 2008 1:54PM We are so laid back when it comes to eating. When Eric was real little he was just like Riley, he just started really eating and he just turned 6. He still pulls the old "I'm hungry right before bed" deal and I tell him he had his chance and now he's going to bed. He a little bit older so he understands.
As far as trying new food, the kid lives on chicken nuggets and grilled cheese. Whatever, as long as he is eating something (finally).
